Repentance is finally out and I am streaming a lot of it! I figured it would be a good idea to put the streamed videos in their own separate playlist, hope you enjoy following along with my progress (and streams of consciousness).

I thought Tainted Eve was bad until they generated an Incubus for half a heart
Not just that, an incubus that you can recall to just get your health back.
It feels like it's just... good. There are very few consequences compared to other tinted characters.
@@Orillion123456 the incubi can die and you have to tap fire if you don't wanna waste more health. Pretty big downsides paired with pretty big upsides IMO. Except with big dmg slow attacks, then it is really strong

Tainted Eve has a rough start, but once you begin picking up momentum with her, it's a lot like having 70 simultaneous Incubi.

It’s a shame NL doesn’t like story driven games. Doki Doki was one of my favorite playthroughs and it was so fun to see Nl get kinda sucked into it despite his hesitations about the game
Doki doki was more of a meme playthrough, I think when he says story driven he means something like god of war, when people got pissy cause he ignored the story
He enjoyed GTA V, but I guess that was probably more bc of the gameplay

@@PuchuKt I personally love god of war (haven't played the newest) but I can see NL getting confused and ignoring the story. It's super melodramatic and the whole "get the mcguffin 1 to get the mcguffin 2 from the place that takes to mcguffin 3" structure is confusing and honestly a bit boring at times. But well, I never played it for the plot XD

she's my favorite tainted character, i've had my most op runs ever with tainted eve
if you get a good red heart build she is extremely powerful. you could get a run doing like 12 damage haemolacria shots or something but if you get a bunch of red hearts you can easily get to like 30+ red clots which basically multiplies your damage output by 11+
I’ve been really enjoying Tainted Lilith and actually already finished her post it note. I’m having a hard time with Tainted Eve. I can’t decide what the best strategy for her is yet.
@@SanguineStarling19 she's really hard early on, but if you turn all hearts on the ground into familiars then she becomes pretty unstoppable. it's best to focus on health items with her.
@@SanguineStarling19 Flight is a must if you want to do her razor's edge, only exception being empty vessel because you want red health for clots. Finding Duct Tape or Friendship Bracelet helps keep tabs on the clots, and control items are amazing on her. Oculus Rift, Compound Fracture, Fear/Charm shot or Black Hole keep Eve safe. Watch out for telefraggers though.
You know Repentance shook up the game when NL takes The Negative over Polaroid on a Hush - Void run with no red hearts.

Just wanna get this in here, haven’t finished the episode and I’m like a billion episodes behind, but you can spawn a bunch of duders to lower your health to get into boss trap rooms and sumptorium them back to refill your health.

Dunno if NL falls into this character at all this episode, but Eve is soooo fun.
It’s definitely complicated, but I think Eve is my all time favorite character. Eve is my Jacob 100%.
But, like I said in the video where NL said Jacob is for sure his character: everybody vibes differently to different things.

I had a run with tainted eve with sol, and i got the angel run brimstone, and tear detonator. The game was at 3fps during the beast fight.
The best way to play Eve is to only make new clots when you have the hp on the ground to replenish it, and tap shoot. It's kinda rough starting out but once you get going it can get busted

I talked about my salary with my coworkers and helped them out because I was getting like 10k more a year when she had more experience than me. We both left that place for a company that treats us much more fairly and compensates us both better.
Tainted eve is op as hell, items like moms wig are awesome and I literally 1 shot delirium with perfection, tech x and ocular rift

@@PuchuKt you can get combos that give huge, overwhelming offense to make tainted lost doable. there's no item to take away the mind flood that he experiences while playing tainted jacob

yeah it seems like tainted eve is one of those steam rolling characters. You need something good to get them going, but once it gets going it's a lot of damage.
Instead of just tap firing, use your red hearts as fuel to summon cloths. Whenever you find a red heart, summon cloths and then reheal the red health. Also never recall them. This way you get a 60% damage boost per red heart since the cloths do 30% of your damage.

I sure hope NL turns around on his views on Tainted Eve, she can get overpowered really easily even without the ridiculous Brimstone + Continuum setup. She kind of sucks for the first couple floors, but most items cause her to snowball really hard really fast, especially tear effects. Mostly I think NL needs to make more use out of Sumptorium, it's risky but it gives enough DPS and protection from the clots to make up for it, and if you run into a spicy room you can always just recall the clots. (note i may be biased since tainted eve is in my top 3 tainted characters)

Its my favorite game so seeing Disco Elysium on TH-cam would be immensly pogged. I would be very much the type of person to get mad at NL for making jokes during emotional moments though.

They do! black hearts shoot dark matter shots, eternal hearts shoot sacred heart shots (probably not as strong though), rotten hearts shoot poison I think, and gold hearts apply midas's touch
Can you press Control as Tainted Eve to control just Eve and not the blood clots?

It lowers high hp enemy's health and it heals one red heart when you go into boss rooms. Both really good effects, the bad part is you can't get rid of it, so if there is another trinket you really like, you're stuck
