Oh how my wife and I been dreaming of taking a cruise! We're hoping to save up for one next summer. God Willing. Not sure if we've ever used UK outlets but wait, No USB plugs?!?Wow! Definitely a decent sized cabin. Doesn't look too outdated to us, but then again, we haven't been on a cruise since 2015..lolol The balcony looks very nice. Cozy and private. @@DADDIO1969 Not many UK cruise lines have US sockets and obviously US/European cruise lines don’t have ours. This is why I always recommend taking some adapters so that all the outlets can be used. Lovely room tour! Looks like a similar layout to when we had a balcony cabin on Harmony of the Seas, just a bit more dated. No usbs! Awe! Odd that they chose the color schemes they did, it even seems dated for the time period that Anthem came out 😂 they stopped giving out the horizon/cruise compass on our last cruise in Feb. we had to use app only going forward. I missed laying in bed and taking a peek at it lol. Great tour as always! 😊

Great stuff Steve. Thanks for posting. Ventura is of its time but does the job. Those TV’s needed to be changed though in last refit, you need binoculars to watch it, P&O interactive tv are great and lots of people spend time in cabin so a bit oversight (cost cutting), also shower doors would of been nice. 💯 agree on wardrobe area, love it!
@@cruisingwiththe4bs With a couple of modifications such as new interactive TV’s and USB sockets by the bed I think that this cabin would be much improved. I have to say that this room looks really big compared to the ones i have seen on other channels. Very cool but you are right, a bit dated, but larger. LIKE 9👍👍👍
We had a balcony cabin twice on Ventura and both times we found it to be quite noisy from the neighbours all around. you have to put up with 3 above 3 below and 2 either side, they may not be out on the balcony at the same time but you can hear them talking and laughing watching TV or listening to music. Regardless of if you have your balcony door open or not. I tend to prefer inside cabins because of this they seem to be much quieter, and darker at night when sleeping.
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had noise from other cabins, it’s not something I experienced. I do think that this is one of the best reasons for booking an inside cabin as there’s less chance of noise transfer. Many thanks for watching and commenting 👍
The room looks comfortable. I like that the balcony has footstools as well as the chairs, but the flooring is weird. Unusual for there to be no USB ports! But it's a bonus to have UK plug sockets.
@@earsandideas7266 The footstalls were a nice touch but yes, the flooring was a bit unsightly. The cabins haven’t been refreshed in a while so I hope they can add USB’s into the sockets next time 👍
Glad you said that the size of the TV didn't matter. Can't understand why people want a 48in TV on a cruise, as if they spend all day in the cabin watching TV! Last went on Ventura in 2018 and loved her, prefer her to her sister ship Azura.
I don’t even watch much TV at home let alone on holiday. I’m just off Celebrity Apex this morning and the cabin TV was huge but apart from having the news on while we got ready in the morning it was just in the way. I agree with that, the crew on Ventura were far better than other P&O ships I’ve been on. Many thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it.
The cabin is a nice size - even if the tv isn't. The decor is dated. Maybe they could just make going back in time the theme of the cruiseand pretend the decor is part of the time travel theme. Looks like a nice place for a vacation at sea. Thanks for sharing your review!
The room is dated but its not bad. It looks as though the bathroom has enough room in it, two nightstands (very important), and I don't mind the small television as we don't watch much television.
It’s good enough I just feel with a new TV and some USB’s it would be much better. I honestly can’t see them changing the decor or the bathroom unfortunately. Many thanks for watching 👍
