Steep is because your trail wrist/elbow/shoulder are not flexible enough to keep the shaft "laid off" on the downswing. Causes slight over the top action and shanks as club is thrown out. Toe strikes are when you follow through to the left, pulling the club head away from the ball (McIlroy does this with short irons). I suggest work on your flexibility, relax the right hand grip so that it does not interfere too much, and play a high draw, simply by allowing a free, high follow through. Then repeat 10,000 times with an 8 iron. If this is too boring, give up serious golf, play for fun.
@@Jamesdaman69 it's hard to know without seeing your swing ofc. I generally try to find the earliest cause of the issue. -So I basically check the following in order: alignment/aim, ball position, posture, grip, takeaway, top of swing, downswing, impact. -From a general overview, getting steep could be from getting too much arm travel, not enough shoulder turn, or poor takeaway. If nothing helps, try to truly understand why. Ability Follows Understanding. Good Luck🤙
I’ve always believed that the greatest winners on tour play the power fade : Jack, Tiger, Hogan…. Bombers who play for the cart girls like to hit power draws Rory, Phil, Snead. More control and precision is my preference on a golf course, but that may just be my personality. 😊
Love the new video. I could meditate to it. And, appreciate the clubs on the screen as well as the graphic on steepness. 😊
Keep grinding Garth,
Enjoying the content and progress mate
2 iron sounds crispy

Koepka also played the fade to win four majors.
Sorry five now.
Love ❤️ the videos. Please keep them coming. Also, the one on levels was my favourite. Maybe another one 🙏
What's your handicap now?
