Broke my toe two days before I had knee surgery. My doctor said it was broken, the radiologist said it wasn't but I know he had to be wrong. They didn't stabilize it and my toe is no longer straight. The pain was awful, Elijah is really strong! Even when baseball is over he can practice his stance and batting so he will be the star next Spring. Hang in there Elijah!!

i have broken my finger in grade 5 and was in a cast for a week and brace for 8 weeks,
I had my broken finger between to metal Poles when i was in year 7 and had to get stitches to hold my nail and I had got 3 needles to num my finger

I have broken my rest before and that really hurts i did have to wate to go to the doctor told me i broken my rest and that hurt and i had to get a cast and a rest band to hold it up
Broke my foot right before my senior year. Had to miss some sports too I feel for him!
FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS heyyyyyyyyyyy!!! But on the other hand or shall I say foot lol. My daughter had 2 buckled fractures in her toes and they put a boot on her. After a couple of people stepping on her I took her back n got them to put a cast on it and they covered more of her toes then normal.

I know how Elijah feels I broke my foot I September 8th at work with a piano and I’m recovering from surgery and how to get another surgery to remove the metal plates and pin in my foot. So speedy recovery!!
When I was in high school, I broke my toe and they gave me a boot, so I didn’t have to use crutches. It made life a little easier for me.

Oh Elijah I feel for you! This past January I broke the first bone in my left foot when I was flown off a bike while vacationing in San Diego (on the first day of vacation). Unfortunately us healthcare providers are bad patients and I hobbled around on it for 9 days before getting my walking cast so I spent 9 weeks in the walking cast instead of 6 due to poor healing😭. Don’t make my same mistake! Next year you will be amazing at baseball

It's a pain in the butt but you don't have the choice, you need to rest and take care of yourself when your body can't handle it anymore 😉

Keep your head up, Elijah! You'll make it through. I slipped in something wet someone spilled at a store on Sept 29th and broke my ankle. The ER splinted it and it took 9 days for me to get into the Orthopedic doctor. So I feel how bummed you are. But after I got to the doc they gave me some better stabilizing and I can walk again with a boot. I'm not letting it keep me down, still going on a trip we planned, I will just hobble my way all over! It's a long road, but you can do it and next season you'll feel just as strong! You got this.
I’m so sorry, Elijah. I feel your pain. I fractured my big toe a few years ago while coming down the stairs. I missed a step and landed right on it. Unfortunately for me, I was so scared to move it too much that it has now healed in a way that I cannot bend it. The doctor said that I should have tried bending it during the healing process. If only they had told me that. So, just a little tip for you. 🙂
Poor Elijah, ouch, it looks very painful! I know what it feels like to stub my toe, have done it many times but at least I didn't break them doing it but it felt like it for awhile. Have never broken a bone but my sister broke her fingers before and my Dad broke his ankle and I think one of my brother's did something to his arm a couple of times and my brother-in-law broke both of his arms at the same time as a toddler and my 2 year old nephew broke his leg. Had to laugh at Danny and his non-prescription glasses, I only wear prescription glasses and I only have 1 pair right now so I know where they are all the time plus my prescription sunglasses. Happy belated birthday!
I’ve broken my pinky toe so many times I’ve lost count. I walk like a duck so I’m always bumping into everything. The only thing to be done is soaking in epsom salt and bandaging it. I love Braden’s Halloween box! ❤️❤️❤️

I have torn a ligament in the top of my foot when a large size of frozen orange fell from the icebox. I have dislocated a bone in my ankle. So painful!!!

I have had a few broken bones in my life, but crazy enough, I have had a broken toe too! It wasn't even an exciting story, lol. My airwick fragrance sprayer fell off the top of my fridge and landed in the exact WRONG spot and broke my toe 🤣🤣 How lame is that?! I felt like such a bonehead!

While you're waiting for the ortho, put a thin layer of cotton between the big toe and the one next to it. Wrap those two toes together. It's called buddy taping. It'll help hold it steady and the covers in the bed won't bother it so much. I have broken a few toes and that's what the dr. did for me.

When my daughter use to play softball, her thumb got hit by a pitch and she fractured the growth plate in her thumb. It was the first practice of the season. She was out for 6 weeks. She was so disappointed. Elijah will be a great assistant coach! Hope your toe doesn't cause you too much pain Elijah.

Growing up I sprained my ankles over and over again. Saw a specialist from about age 10 til about 24 or so. Thankfully it's been years since I sprained them. I'm 47 now and first time sprained an ankle I was 8. It was so bad my dr threatened to break my ankles so they would heal correctly. I was in casts a lot.
I broke my left wrist twice.
So sorry Elijah is bummed. Hopefully it heals quickly.

I had my knees run over when I was in gr 2 I was tiying my shoe friends dad tan over my legs w a 1980's dodge or Ford truck wasnt broken then but since my teens my knees r always in pain barely bend or move now arthritis I'm 36 now

I've broken my arm when I was a child. I fractured my wrist when I was in my late 20's and now I have Carpal Tunnel. I broke both of my ankles on the first day that I moved to Oklahoma when I was in my mid 30's. It's not fun. I hope your toe gets well soon Elijah!

Honestly I hate going to the urgent care bc most of the time they don’t give useful/sufficent information. Literally leaving people with unsatisfied results PLUS THE LONG WAITS UGH!
I possibly broke my my right index finger, and all I really could do was splint it. After either the second or third week, I just had to have it taped while working. I injured it while I was doing my Disney College Program.
Fractured my ankle in 7th grade. Cast fir 6 weeks. Brome my butt (tailbone) 3 winters ago falling on ice...that still hurts when I don't sit properly.

I hope that toe gets better soon. Feet are not something to ignore because if it heals wrong it could mean pain and ambulatory problems forever so, I think it was a very good thing to go to the doctor. I just can't believe they sent you away basically doing nothing but a referral. Who says it won't get stubbed again? At very least it should be protected. I hope you are able to get him in soon. I've actually bruised my butt bone (coccyx) but the only thing I've broken was my collarbone when i was in 2nd grade. I was playing football in the house with my little brother and he jumped on my back. I went over into the iron and stone coffee table and snapped it. We didn't go to the doctor and my mom told me to suck it up so I went to school for 2 days and played PE until at church a kid bumped into my shoulder. They called my mom and said "Your daughter has a bone sticking out of her shoulder. You might want to take her to the doctor." 😬
Poor Lil Man!! My youngest daughter while getting off the bus tripped between the last step and the in between before the concrete curve. Fell flat on the concrete. Broke her nose. She was in kindergarten. Then when my son was like 6 broke his wrist while riding his bike. 2 weeks later he needed his appendix out.. What a life. Happy birthday Danny
Poor Elijah looked so upset. He made me tear up. Feel better kiddo! I chipped a bone in high school on my right hand middle finger in softball and I was out for preseason. And I couldn’t write either because I’m right handed.
I hate to see Elijah in so much pain. I was crying for him. I had a reverse shoulder replacement. They had to saw the ball off the top of my arm, insert a steel rod down my arm, and then attached a plate on the rod. Then they had to saw the plate off my shoulder and replace it with a titanium ball. Bottom line-it left me with a permanent disability. I have to be careful not to fall because I cannot put my arm/hand out to break my fall. I just face plant. Elijah is a tough little guy. I am saying prayers he heals quickly and fully.
