Savage oppress didn’t stand a chance against him, and same with ventress and her sisters. Dooku was actually considered 2nd to yoda before he left the order. And after he joined Sidious, dooku almost became equal to yoda, yoda was still more powerful though, but it says a lot. Dooku would just pick maul apart 9 times out of 10, I don’t think maul stands much of a chance. Although if maul had never been defeated on Naboo and reached his full potential, I do think maul would have eventually become as powerful as dooku. I don’t think he had Sidious or anakin type potential though.
@@sdaftermath123 He was at his full potential he just became cocky near the end. Maul was at his PEAK before Phanton Menace non canon or canon he was able to last against Sidious's VII but he lost his acrobatics in the form when his legs got cut off.

Maul could never defeat Obiwan and adult Anakin at the same time, whereas Dooku consistently defeated the duo again and again in the Clone Wars era and always embarrassed Obiwan like he was nothing, even up until the last time they fought. Maul’s best feats come close/match Dooku’s abilities but come nowhere close to Dooku’s highest end showings, where he’s Windu’s superior/match dueling wise and has force powers up beyond what Maul can master. He was one of the greatest as a Jedi and only increased in power under Sidious. Tyranus just too well refined and deadly.

He's also way older and more experienced, knowledgable and powerful. He held his own against Yoda, defeated twice a stronger Obi-Wan that Maul fought, and could've still beaten ROTS Anakin if he didn't pushed him to use the dark side. Dooku is a beast, i put my money on him. If we talk about Lore primes, i say they're pretty evenly matched.

I say that because Grevious has actually bested some of the most skilled Masters in the Jedi Council and even fought Mace Windu to a stalemate. I'd consider his feats to be superior to Maul's. From my perspective, Maul scales over Ventress, Grevious scales over Maul, but Dooku scales above them all.
