*Ultimate Edition Tanares Updates* Apply these rule adjustments only if playing the Ultimate Edition. 1. When gaining Loot cards during the expedition portion of the City Phase, you can choose to forgo the cards and earn War Points instead. The type of war points you get will depend on the expedition itself. This information can be found on the city map of the ultimate edition. 2. In the Ultimate edition, Kemut Hunt level 5 & 6 penalties have been swapped. Level 5 now deals the distributed 75 points of damage, which I explain at 36:01 of the video, and level 6 prevents you from placing your chest. See 35:50.
CONGRATS ON THE RELEASE!!! I’ve been waiting for this one! :) Your Part 1 video is the reason I backed Tanares! Looking forward to receiving my Ultimate Edition soon: :)
I’ve also been looking forward to getting it done lol. There has been so many scheduling mishaps with this project. I started thinking it would never get done haha. Hope you enjoy this one :)
Got my ultimate copy last week. The 2 videos are very explanatory - well done. I'm looking forward to getting this game to the table because I know my gaming group will enjoy it.
This is great for a first idea about the rules. But there are quite a few minor details that changed with the ultimate version. So players should reference the rulebook
1 of the critics of this game was that all heroes specific attack cards were lvl 1 cards. So in the end, every hero of the same role was almost identical because the hero specific cards were too weak. As far as i know, they added new hero cards of higher lvl. Can you confirm that?
Yes, now at higher levels, you get cards that uses the hero's primary attacks empowered. The only level 4 card uses this, so the most powerful attack depends on the hero's primary attack

True. I didn’t have that rulebook myself when I did this video. But I did attempt to address as many things that I knew about when I was recording.
