Fourth wing is AMAZING... i read it when it was released and finished it in a day..had to wait for the second book to release to read it so I've basically forgotten a lot.. also iron flame is like 700 something pages so I keep putting it off. i might have also spoiled the end a little for myself so that's also why I'm putting it off. I read somewhere that there's going to be 4 more books so I feel like i might have to keep doing re-reads to keep up and remember stuff. I read way too much so every book is just jumbled in my head at this point lol.. Also..i got the the noir 29 le labo perfume and I am OBSESSED...thank you so much for recommending it!! It is definitely the best ❤

I have never been a fantasy girlie either but I no kidding read Fourth Wing in like four days while being a new mom aka busy with baby haha. It’s literally all I thought about when I wasn’t reading and even when I finished I couldn’t stop thinking and talking about it daily for two months!! I’m literally rereading it, which I never do, because it was that good and the second book Iron Flame came out last month! It’s a nice easy fantasy read with not too intense fantasy words and feels very modern! I’ve read a few after that and fantasy books can for sure be a little hard to read but Fourth Wing was so dang good!!
The book is somehow even better the second time reading and there is a part where I cried EVEN HARDER the second time 😂 It’s so so good. You really get attached to the characters 😭
I think you should do the Audible version of Fourth Wing. People seem to be pretty mixed on it, from what I've seen. It seems to be one of those you either love it or you hate it books, and people that love it tend to overhype it. So if you get the Audible version, and you end up not liking it, you won't have spent the money on the physical book.
I read Fourth Wing cause everyone was raving about it but it just wasn’t that good in my opinion😬 I mean I can see why people would like it, it’s very consumable and easy to follow. But for me the world building was sub-par and there was literally no character dept at all. Also too many jumps in the timeline so nothing is ever fleshed out. The author has just put every fantasy trope together and hoped for the best, it just didn’t work.
Okay forth wing. I LOVED it BUT the author isn't a good author. She is a wonderful story teller. The book is good and really engaging but it could have used another round of editing. As a Christian it has a lot of swearing and a couple of spicy scenes. Overall I do recommend though
