Good morning gents. Cadillac Lyric owner. Just finished a 2 week road trip from Ft Lauderdale to S Carolina and then to Tallahassee, FL. No hiccups or issues with charging.
It seems to be common across most big cities. Definitely true here in Boston and the Tri-state area to the south of us. I experienced similar congestion in Chicago as well. In general, fast charging in cities or major suburbs is something I avoid while traveling, unless I'm staying in the area and can pick my time.
West Virginia is fast charging desert. Beckley West Virginia Travel Center is not opened yet to my knowledge. Glad to hear they are putting a fast charger there at the Travel Center.
I think there was some chagrin over the Beckley plaza getting its grand opening in the final days of the year but the Lincoln Electric chargers not being commissioned in time for holiday travel. Both that one (8 dispensers) and a small install at the Bluestone Travel Plaz (4 dispensers) are supposed to be energized some time this month. They also mention NEVI funding but I haven't seen anything about WV awards, so if that's the case these could have been funded outside of a competitive solicitation. Busy start to the year and I certainly didn't have West Virginia on my bingo card for DCFC!
I am confused about the consenus here regarding past Tesla EV sales dominance in the US. My limited research shows Tesla first exceeding 50% in 2017. So in the last 14 years, Tesla has led for 7? Software, robots, and energy are the future of Tesla. Now if they could just do something about aviation emissions ...
It appears Walter is saying at around 25:15 that Republicans all have their head in the sand and didn’t consider an EV until Trump said good things about Elon. 😂 Sorry Walter, but I do believe a good number of Republicans do already own EVs from whatever automaker they liked. 😊
As I understand it, Walter is one of those very Republicans you're describing... perhaps it's the more red hat-wearing subset of the right that Walter believes will be persuaded to electrify their drive? Should make for some interesting Supercharger encounters, at the very least!

Great to hear, Frederick, thanks for checking in and sharing your travel experience in the Lyriq ⚡🛣️
Walter, it’s Northern Arizona :-) I’m glad you enjoyed your trip here.
The flagstaff area was beautiful. Mesas leading in too
Thanks for the content, Fellas.
Thanks for watching!
I'm from Philadelphia. I heard the EAs on Philadelphia proper are packed with folks free charging.

Following Crazypostman= Lawnmower Man= Francis&FlyingJ. Following also Allan (Love's) and Arkansas Traveler (Walmart).
Love the wider EV/TH-cam community crossover! Any other small-mediun sized EV channels that we should mention?
@@plugandplayEV EVchargingsite reviews (The Average EV). But no worries. Y'all do a great job, always!
Appreciated, will compile a list and mention next time out!
