One of the bedrooms with the balcony on top floor could easily be a living room leaving one bedroom on ground level.The light and view is so much better. Plus those rooms are very spacious. This is a really good deal.
Right next to the wood fired oven in the cantina just to the right side would have been an elevated stone platform that would have been the open fire kitchen "stove". This cantina is an architectural wonder and the best part of the house. The arched ceilings will also date the home to an older era when this construction was quite common and possible a sign of a wealthy family.

Forgive me my question, as you came from a more cosmopolitan Brisbane and probably be surprised by it but you sound like someone I can ask it. How do you think these small town folks would react to or treat people UNLIKE themselves, in general? Or people of color or Asians, in particular? TIA
Like the large rooms. If they used it for holidays I doubt they were needing a lounge room because they were out enjoying the countryside. As for why they sold the garage, well, maybe someone didn’t have a car and needed some extra money! Views are great. Lots of home for the money. As for the cantina, I would renovate and make it a sitting room. Would “sit” and watch the world go by.

I agree, pity they sold the garage. It is a lovely house, and livable BUT definitely a 2 bedroomed house unless you don't mind not having a living room. Bathroom and downstairs toilet would need to be redone. Could be a great home for someone.
Nice interior. The across the street view of the land and to the sea may in the future be blocked if a building is placed in that gap between the other buildings. That possible future loss of view may be one reason why property not selling fast. Also, the lack of a garage is a negative. If the front surrounding the door were fitted with thin stone to approximate the look of the city center older buildings it would greatly improve the appeal. The work done on the front steps looks very nice and inviting but surrounding the door is meh. Like the proximity to grocery as a 2 minute walk.
I think the problem is they should have set up the 1st floor bedroom as a living room . And sell it for a 2bed room ,and shouldnt have sold the obvious garage to someone else is why not selling.

very nice property, if possible, I would enlarge the door of the cantina so it could be used as a garage, at least for a small car.

Hi, we don't think it would be blocked in the future as it is a passageway and belongs to the municipality
