I tried out the brown mushroom house. It was wonderful. I added my own touches by making a kennel for my dog, an enchantment table, two end chests and a smol umbrella to protect me from the rain. Edit: Guys I added a jukebox and added a chest for all the discs I collected.
That mountain one was awesome! Can’t wait to make it soon! Edit: I might fix some changes to it. Update on me making it, my friend helped me and it looks super cool!

I've done so many mountain bases, I love Grian, and u managed to make a brown mushroom look cool! I've seen a lot of those and I know how to make it with a red mushroom

I spawned in a village, went exploring a bit and found a mob spawner place (forget what they're called, dungeons was it?) Set up my base there and it is really convenient for multiple reasons
finally someone competent enough to understand what a "starter base" is instead of a frickin mansion that requires stuff from the nether along with 80 stacks of wood

Bonus points if you collected a lot of ice and when making at the top,finishing the whole house and you could bridge to other tall spikes and make a small like village 😉! At the mushroom one u can create a little umbrella in the centre using fences, carpets and string to protect yourself from the rain

The brown mushroom base was incredible, I haven’t tried it yet but with the shaders and the view of the trees and lake/ocean, it’d be worth it 🤩

Idea: A jungle house. Build a circle with slabs near the top of the tree, and build bridges/other circles to expand it. Another of Grian’s ideas.
