@@ricya1982 most the money is spent on pensions if you want to retire rich and you did not graduate high school you better join the city work force you will retire well very well but you have to do 20 years
Instead of making a place so people who are low income can afford to actually get a place to live this place is not for the homeless it's for rich folks from other cities
My thoughts exactly. This building has historical value, so it's going to be especially sad to see it end up trashed. I know it's highly unlikely, but I really hope there will be some kind of plan for maintenance and upkeep to preserve all the hard work that went into restoring that hotel 🫣😕
On what planet is $40,000 a year for a single person considered affordable housing? I'm on disability and get less than $15,000 a year, so how affordable really are these new units? If you're getting $40,000 a year as a single person you're not going to live in some place like that
For those complaining that's it's being renovated for the homeless are probably the same ones complaining about the homeless down the freeways and all over and the mess they make. Trying to get them off the streets and stop the messes and yet still not happy!
As cool as this is, the preservation of our home. This video is misleading. It’s protrudes a dream. Which in reality we all know is false. This isn’t helping the homeless. This is to make a profit.
There will be. The idea is they have so and so amount of ppl living in downtown in order for the high rise to be developed. There’s already plans for a new modern high rise at the far end of Fulton. They city just needs a good number of residents moving in to downtown. This will allow for new office buildings needed and retail and entertainment to follow

I love my little town , and I love more when the city invests in making it beautiful again 😊 It makes me happy .
Yeee
@Naylor Broughton yea not even if you paid me sad to see so much money toss in the trash all that money could have bought the homeless over 200 homes
Low income housing, it's like a project. Best to have security in there.
Fresno is FAR from "little." Most of the money is spent on the North Side of town, Clovis. So... yeah...

How the hell do you think they are going to pay for the millions spent on renovations, with homeless people? This was a BUSINESS venture.
Good. Fresno needs more business ventures like this. I hope they decide to sell individual units one day.
Affordable housing it's going to be a disaster SMH
Exactly what I said. It just brings in trash people who will make it a dump

Homeless tweakers don’t try to change. Cmon don’t you live here those people choose to do what they do why should we help them.
Dope!!!
Have they found a body in the stairwell yet?
"Subsidized Housing"
They eventually will.
More likely sooner than later.

There is no city sky line in Fresno it's just a bunch of old buildings.
