I am a 75 year old Australian man who was brought up on Gospel/Bluegrass music and my first memory was hearing Hank Williams 'I Saw The Light'. I have watched this stunning performance many times and it never ceases to amaze, stagger and delight me! I believe this performance is one of the greatest ever recorded and Sonyas vocal performance is unmatched by anyone else along with her wonderful sister Becky and Mum. The range of vocal Sonya achieves must have startled the lucky people who were at the show itself.Someone has said before this was a majestic performance and it should be noted as such.Can you imagine following this group on stage? This is in my all time top 5 songs and acts I have ever heard and it makes me well up and have the hairs on my arms stand up it is so beautiful. Also, the instrumentation is superb! I thank God for The Isaacs every single day! I wish they would come to Australia,
I'm 65 and just discovered the Isaacs about 6 months ago and I agree with you every word!
With all of God...I had the blessing of going to Church..I lost my best friend of 90 years...he gave his money to his new church..at his funeral I was told that after working 9 to 14 a day he would go to the new church as it was being built and take a sharpe marker and get down on his knees and write Gods word..THE REASON?...He said that everyone that would Worship would stand on the word of God. We all need more of simple love.

I agree I’ve seen the Issacs and was MC of one of their concerts, and to me they are a top notch group. But I was living in Nashville at the time and was surrounded by many great anointed musicians. It’s a blessing.

The absolute beauty of God's creation should be enough to convince any atheist to know there is a God who wants His children to enjoy His creations!!!! I can hear the Holy Spirit whispering that in everyone's ears!!! See that god is so good!!!! But they close their ears. so sad -I have a son that was raised and accepted the lord as his Savior, but now states he is an atheist--so painful!!!!

Im 43 years old and i have only just heard of the Isaacs and this amazing girl and her mum and sister❤❤❤ her voice is so strong and it really hits you❤❤
She absolutely has a beautiful and strong voice . I cannot get enough of her singing. I'm a lifelong Colorado boy and I can only imagine that she had the Red Rocks Amphitheater and the mountains around it shaking beautifully.

I was at the concert at Red Rocks. Greatest musical experience ever. Most of the old timers are now gone. This was about 4 hours and is divided into 2 video discs.

First time I saw and listened to this I was mesmerized, and ashamed to say; infatuated by her voice and presence. The conviction in her voice and the obvious presence of the Holy Spirit is so moving. One of if not my favorite song and such an inspiration. God bless the family.

JulIan A - Actually Lily was singing in a duet with a girlfriend back in the 1960's at a nightclub in New York. Joe Isaacs was playing in a bluegrass band. Lily and Joe met there and eventually got married. Joe's background was Pentecostal Holiness in the hills of Kentucky but he had backslidden from God and left home. He was the youngest of 17 children. A few months after Lily and Joe got married, one of Joe's brothers was killed in a car accident. They drove down to Ohio where he lived to attend his funeral. Joe's brother was a young man and it was a sudden tragic death.
Now the Jews do not have funerals like we do. They do not embalm their dead, so burials must be within 24 hours. So for Lily to attend an old-fashioned, country funeral with all the mourners and services was very strange to her. The night after the funeral service and burial, Joe's huge family wanted to have church. Lily didn't want to go - she'd never been to a church service - but she went out of respect for Joe and his family. She was fascinated by the Pentecostal singing, the music, and the freedom of the Spirit in the worshipping service. After the preaching, she felt very condemned but she didn't understand anything about Jesus and salvation. Yet her heart was so heavy, she found herself on her knees crying out to God to give her what she didn't have, even though she didn't even know what it was. Jesus revealed himself to her and she was gloriously saved. Joe repented and rededicated his life to the Lord. They quickly moved there and attended church faithfully. Lily was like a sponge learning all about Jesus and His life on earth, His death on the cross, and His resurrection. Soon Lily had prayed through and received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Joe and Lily had their three children in quick succession. Music was a part of both of their lives and they started singing in church. The children showed great talent with music - singing and playing instruments - and by the ages of 8, 9, and 10, the five of them were singing together. They first started singing in their own little church but soon other churches were inviting them to come and sing for them also. Their singing ministry quickly grew from there and by the time the children were teengers, they were recording albums, traveling, and holding concerts.
Sometime in the 90's, Joel became involved with another woman and he and Lily divorced. He left the family singing group. Lily was determined to keep them together and she, along with the three children, decided to keep on going regardless of what the enemy (Satan) had tried to do to destroy their ministry.
Joe is presently singing with a country/bluegrass group and has remarried. Lily and her three children travel every week and are well-known all over the country. The three children - especially Rebecca and Sonya - have written many, many #1 songs and have a great talent. Their unique sound of combining southern gospel with a Jewish sound and flavor is unmatched. Lily jokingly refers to many of their songs as "Jew-grass".
Lily has never remarried. She has suffered through some serious illnesses such as cancer and many back surgeries due to extreme scoliosis, but she continues to be faithful to her calling.
Both her parents were in concentration camps until Nazi rule. When the war ended and they were released, they met and got married. Many of the camp survivors were allowed to come to America. Lily's parents settled in New York when she was three years old (having been born in Poland). When Lily got saved, her parents disowned her and she was not allowed to visit them or even talk to them for several years. They treated her as though she were dead. It is not known if her parents ever accepted Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah.
