They feel like the cable snapped inside. They appear to work properly at least from the outside. Is there something inside that can break off?? Do you have to buy clips? Do they break when you take it apart? What happens if the handle does not "grag" the cable. I think that is what is wrong. Do I need a new handle?
Do you have any insights on how to replace the interior pull door handle? It is the first part you took off (silver) but the one I have has the plastic silver piece but the actual handle is rubber and is a part of that whole handle piece (below the door handle you're replacing in the video).
Too bad. Both my drivers side and passengers side handles have "broken" the cable and do not work. I have to fix them. Please make a movie to re-attach the cable. Thanks... do I need any parts???

Hi dear 1aAuto Team, my door cable has snapped and I was trying to replace it,however after removing the door panel, I could not find a way to take out the other end of the cable .Is there any video that covers it or do you know how can I take out the cable? I am talking about the area that is connected to a piece of metal on the door before it goes to the latch mechanism, I hope you know which area I am talking about. Thank you.

Same thing just happened to our car. That’s a good question and I hope they eventually answer it, sooner than later.

My exterior handle on driver side is broken. What could it be? Do I need change the exterior handle or the cable? HELP!
