Such a wonderful part of the world. Love the area around Weymouth and Portland. Especially like the pano of the huts. A great selection of images Lawrence.
@@russhawker1718 yeah, lots of opportunities down that way. I mentioned to my in laws over Xmas about inviting myself down to them and going a number of photo walks in the area.
Lovely images, Lawrence 👍. Very much enjoyed joining your walks along the Dorset coast. Gorgeous light over the Channel on Boxing Day must have been a fab start to the day.
@lightinthemeadow thx! Yes, it was an ace start to Boxing Day. Just spent today editing the video from the trip on the 27th, where the light, and the photo opportunities were not as easy 😬, very thin pickings, don’t think I’ve ever walk so far for so long and not got my camera & tripod out! Pity we can’t have every day like dawn on Boxing Day.
Many thanks! Still feel there is alot to learn on teh video front, & I'm currently restricted in what I'd like to do on the post production side, thanks to a PC who's origins are from 2008 - yikes!
@@irajart ah yes, I can see where you make the connection to Turner, I had not thought of that. It is a great location, I’ve visited the area many times over the last 15 years, but not explored it photographically that much, just the odd photo trip. I’m planning to do much more in the area this year.
@@TheLDunn1 Grate! And I'll be happy to see the results, of course the journey in itself is equally important, if not more... Have a beautiful day! Your New Sub.
@@paulwbakerphotography I only had an hour or so there, due to parking, the light caught my eye as I was walking toward the light house & I was drawn to that and the old crane. I’ve shot there multiple times before over the years, my wife’s parents live there, so we go down a lot. Used to cycle along the coastal path at the top of the cliffs all the way to the light house, until the cliffs collapsed and they closed the foot path. There was one part where I didn’t feel comfy riding my bike, & always had to walk it.

Some very nice pictures, in challenging conditions.
Many thanks Stephen, you get what you get don't you? Got to try & make the most of it!
A fine lesson in the power of the crop Lawrence. Loving these video 'shorts'.
@@TimAldworth thanks Tim. With a 50MP sensor, I feel relatively comfy taking liberties & cropping in.

Good stuff! Well seen & processed. I love the quite abstract one of the sea/sky in particular! And the crow on the bench.
@@robintaylor-hunt5875 cheers Robin! Boxing Day dawn was well worth it.
What a fantastic location!...and that sky, light over the horizon...I think maybe William Turner had been there too.

@ many thanks! I aim to put out a new video once a week.
Where are you from?
Some good shot there Lawrence. I noticed you didn’t go to Pulpit Rock? That my favourite place by the lighthouse.
