Getting to where they're at now - in 6A/D1 bracket - kudo's to them!! The stakes get raised from here on out though. Westlake is no slouch, and they've been clicking - there's a reason WL, NS, DV are always in the semi's or championship game every year. COACHING!!! Brennan needs mistake free football against WL - anything less is gonna cost them. Speed, talent, coaching - all advantages that WL has over them - that's just the reality. Everyone's gonna have to contribute. I'm always a fan of the underdog - and the rest of the way out - they are going to be MASSIVE underdogs. I'm a big fan of Houston teams - BUT... would love to see that Duncanville coach get a championship - the guy deserves it more than anyone. last 3 losses were to North Shore in the Championship game. That said, Brennan literally has the HARDEST and most brutal path of any team. "IF" they can win a state in the D1 bracket... they would have bumped (Westlake #9 team in the nation), and most likely that would lead to playing (North Shore #8 team in the nation)in the semi's... to face most likely Duncanville (#11 team in the nation) as I can't see them losing to Westfield this week, or (most likely Prosper) for them. I'm not saying it can't be done - would LOVE to see it happen... it's just such an uphill climb... will be fun to watch and I wish them the best of luck!!

WL's offensive line the last few games of the season and into the playoffs has been looking good and putting food on the table for #33. And if the sun, the moon and the stars align and that happens by some freak miracle... they would almost definitely see Duncanville who is riddled with speed and talent on both sides of the ball in the Championship game. I say all that, because the path to a Championship game for them is literally a meat grinder from here on out. Time to put to the women and children to bed...there's monsters out there...
