They had more talent on the field but vandergrift making it to state with the players they got is impressive in and of itself

The speed of Desotos defense is unreal and definitely unmatched

@@stephenm107I went to that game, Desoto turned the ball over 4 times and didn’t capitalize when they had good field position. I believe the game would have been much closer if played in December. Lots of young talent on that roster as well!

How do the divisions go in Texas? In Ohio we have divisions 1-7 1 is the largest school size and 7 is the smallest.
We have 1A through 6A spilt into District 1 and District 2. 1A being the smallest and 6A being the biggest.
How in the world are teams in the same district reclassified so that one school plays division 1 and the other division 2 in the playoffs? I am speaking of Desoto and Duncanville.
Because of enrollment duncanville and Waxahachie have more students than desoto so they are in d2 while the 2 are in d1

Also the mental problems with the players. Domestic violence and insomnia and poor health care the players have.
