My Cane Corso listens and is happy. That tail be moving when i walk in the door and he start turning in circles and running in between my legs and then sit down in front of me sometimes with that tail going 100 miles per hr lol lol.

I was walking home from a friends house in Pioneer, CA, walking down a road before going off road... when out of a house came a GIANT dog running at me. Another friend had a Great Dane, and this dog was easily as tall but probably weighed a good 50 pounds more. I was about 10, and this dog scared the shit out of me, more than the neighbors up on the hill with their dobermans. This dog coming at me was a mix of rottweiler and doberman I was told, and I thought, "Why am I not dead? I should have been ragdolled with body parts littered all over the street???" Turns out this dog was the nicest, goofiest dog you will ever meet, lol. :D

I have a female dogo argentino who showed up at my house. She fell in love with my autistic 20 year old daughter. She's a very protective and loving dog that I love.
I also have a Red Bull Master female dog and it showed up at my home but I've been in love with and I promise you because of these two dogs I'm feel safe today and I live in the projects and I'm a white girl.

I hate it when owners showcase or reflect their dogs with things of informing others " my dog is dangerous look" Only respect those type of owners who take every precaution when out in public of a muzzle with a tazer for insurance, especially taking every precautions at the home of insuring the dog will not get out and roam the streets ( biggest fear when walking my dog is a loose pit bull ) I carry around a taser for these situations we all do not need to experience. Animal aggression is not a moment you will enjoy but DREDD of having to experience the horrors of attack on you or ya pet.

Had a female Dogo Argentino, female Dobermann, males German Sheperd, and now 2 males Cane Corso, each male is 27" tall and NEVER!!! EVER!!! had any problems with my dogs, the key is to socialize them and train them well
You are most certainly spot on but I would also mention it's key they know you're the alpha but not be confrontational. Have owned 2 Akitas, a Grey Wolf/Shepard mix, 3 Pitts and Giant Schnauzer among many other large dogs.
Up to I see this moviei always thought German Shepherd is the best choice. But now, after I see something new, I change my choice for Cane Corso ;D
As a hungarian, I'd pick kuvasz. This is a old hungarian breed, were responsible to protect the animals, the sheperd dogs and the owner. Not so strong like the argentin dog, but i think beats german sheperd and maybe doberman. Very tough dogs.

I have a cane corso and a blue pit. Both females.....they are both really big babies. They are never aggressive, not even to strangers. They will bark but nothing else.
I know a lot of people with pit bulls, I also know a lot of people with other dog breeds cuz im a dog groomer. The people who own the pits have to take them to several obedience classes, the littler dogs never learn to go to the bathroom outside. I have 8 dogs and all of them mind, all of them get along with people, kids, n other pets. I know its people who are the problem with the breed. And that goes for any breed. The easiest breed I have found to work with is Australian shepherds. They're just aggresive enough to chase cows or sheep, but gentle enough to protect your child. I mixed mine cuz I didnt like dealing with all that hair after doing that all day lol so I mixed mine with blue heeler/australian cattle dogs and border collie. Still got the pretty blue merle coat, not as long or thick, super smart easy going, protects me and my kids like seriously anybody other than my mom or me goes to tickle my daughters n says "im gonna get ya" my 1 dog is on em.
Rottweilers are the best family and guard dogs as a utility worker I wouldn't dare go into a backyard with one, pits and german Shepards are mostly friendly once you get in their yard..... as long as you don't corner them....Rottweilers are shadow dogs they are super devoted to their owners

No way !! unless there small babies or juveniles. Adult alligators in Florida attack and eat Pit bulls or any dog they come across.

Why do people give certain breeds a bad reputation, I’m a animal lover myself and own a Blue nose brindle pittie and she is a very nice loving pup, but she isn’t friendly towards other dogs and cats!! And is probably our own fault for not taking her around others pups when growing up ! When she turned 4 yrs old this is when we noticed her attitude changed towards other animals! But all in all we love her and treat her like family!!

I totally agree. It angers me that the breed gets such a bad rap in several countries that label them as "dangerous" and even outright ban them. That's pure ignorance resulting from too many pitbull owners who shouldn't be allowed to own dogs of ANY kind. Obviously the average pitbull is a solid powerful dog. Yet a riled up Malinois or Dutch Shepherd is potentially far more dangerous than the average pitbull, but nobody seems to see a need to ban them.
