The dark side of Afan Masts

Spent the morning checking the steeper side at Afan Masts. Plenty to keep you on your toes if you like it steep, technical and loose. This is a bit of a mix from the main side and the steep side. Not sure of all the trail names, but you can easily fill a day here and still not find the time to ride everything.

Ridden Afan and Glyncorrwg many times but never here, looks great, natural and techy.
How is it accessed?

If you follow the fireroad to the top of the Masts, on the very last corner overlooking Port Talbot (just before you get to the Masts) you’ll see a load of trails running off to the left. You can combine all sorts to make your way down into Pontrhydyfen from there.
