I, like many others here, go to the subscriptions tab and look at what’s been uploaded since I last looked there. One thing that may be turning people off possibly, is the “premier” feature where a post comes up saying a video is going to premier in a couple days. It almost makes me scroll past possibly a live video of yours, thinking it’s just an ad for a video that will premier in the future. Hopefully that makes sense! Keep doing what you love though, and if TH-cam is one of those things, you’ve got this!
I haven't had any problems getting notified of your videos. I hope you continue with youtube! I enjoy watching your videos! You are so genuine and down to earth! I especially love cooking videos!
I typically leave notifications off. But I just go to the subscribed tab and pick up where I left off watching videos in the order they were released by the people I'm subscribed to. Notifications bother me though 😂
I second this! I see a lot of TH-camrs putting this out on their TH-cam and their Instagram stories and I think they are living by the “feed” not realizing if you really enjoy and understand TH-cam you just go to the subscriptions tab and watch the videos in order they were released by the people who are subscribed to and you don’t have to have notifications I just multiple times a day go to my app on my phone or tv and go to that tab and list and watch videos by people I’m subscribed to.
I turn off notifications for most apps and do not use them for any TH-cam channels. I personally don't want to be bombarded by all that. I find it super overwhelming to have things binging my phone all day. I subscribe to the channels I want to follow and then use my subscription tab when I want to watch videos. I personally like that I can be subscribed to a channel and not have to also get the notifications. So realize not everyone wants all that interrupting their day.
I don’t have notifications on for TH-cam but I do always see your new videos show up on my subscription tab when they’re uploaded. And I also see your videos randomly on my suggested tab. I hope this gets better for you because I enjoy your channel!

Thank you for sharing this. I just went into my notifications tabs, and sure enough the second tab was off -- totally explains WHY I wasn't getting ANY notifications for my subscribed channels.
My notifications have been set up properly since the beginning so I'm all good. I can definitely understand how frustrating this would be to a creator! Your new videos are always on my subscriptions list. You should click on subscriptions rather than looking at the feed. Not sure why it’s only happening to some people.

I have many and couldn’t remember some channel content creator names until I would finally see one appear again to catch up with my favorites. Also, there is another spot where you have to click that you want all notifications. Otherwise it only shows you personalized notifications… go to your subscriptions and click ALL at the top right of the list to change each individual notification setting. So still another step to bypass TH-cam’s algorithm system…
This is really sad to think youtube doesn’t care. But also, people that say they haven’t seen your videos in 2 years and they thought you left. That’s on them. For real. At some point one would think they would key your name in to find out. That’s simple. It’s this other stuff about notifications that’s a crock. Don’t leave us. We’re here with you by choice. I’m so sorry this is happening! YT has had plenty of these kinds of problems before too! I can not imagine, as a creator, how frustrating this is! I always get notifications when you post but I still checked to see if those notifications were on and they are so as long as you post I will watch.😊 If there is a TH-camr that I watch but haven't seen in a while I will pull up the channel to see if there is a post and just didn't get it because that occurred with a couple channels I'm subscribed too.

Sorry with your trouble with notifications on TH-cam. I usually just check your channel every few days to see if you have uploaded a video even though I have always had my notifications on. I don’t understand TH-cam since other TH-camrs channels appear in my feed even though I am not subscribed to their channel. I unscribed to a TH-cam channel due to dishonesty but their videos keep showing up in my feed. I enjoy your channel especially the budget meals & your recipes.

Abby, I think TH-cam does algorithms- so if someone doesn’t watch your stuff because we missed it - then it won’t show on subscription feed. I go to my subscription feed and search out the people I want to see.
You keep making videos and we’ll keep showing up!! I haven’t had this issue with your videos but I have with others! As frustrating as it is for both sides, I feel like YT is probably doing this to push their own agenda thru. I’ve been getting suggested things that are pretty heavy and stuff I’d never watch 😔😩

BUT I check daily to see if you have posted anything new, as I do for the other few channels I am subscribing to. I just check it myself since I am retired and have the time. I do not miss any of your videos. It would leave a big hole in my heart if you quit TH-cam. I love all your posts!!!
Ive been sub/watching you for like 4 years maybe 5. and i was thinking just this past year i havent seen anything from you in a year. now i see why. It is sad your thinking about quiting but i total understand. please keep you your video though! i still refer back to your crockpot/ easy meals all the time!! love you!
