You were the first Pastor I heard to pray for forgiveness for the abused people but for the abusers too . When I heard that I was sobbing . Because I had cause so much damaged to my children . Specially to my youngest daughter. Verbally and sometime physical too . And for that I haven't been able to forgive myself. I have told you lately that I Love you!
This is amazing I just moved myself and kids out from years of abuse addiction neglect and control. I cannot even talk safely with my husband. my teen daughter is in rebellion and run away from the safest home shes ever had to do "unsafe" things. I'm trying to rebuild destroyed finances so I can be debt free and support us. I am in the fire of my life. I pray God is doing all Rick is saying for me my daughter and my son and husband. In Jesus name Amen

This message has become an eye opener to me. I realised that God will be with me through the darkest time and I don't need to fear any storm that would come into my life. The world right now is experiencing the pandemic crisis brought by the covid-19 virus but we, christians no need to fear because God is in control and He holds our future. Thank you Ptr. Rick for this great preaching.
Your book Purpose Driven Life has helped me in changing many areas of my life, you really give very good teachings. May the Holy Spirit help me to grow more and more deeper.

A question just popped up on my head. Did Daniel worshiped the image of the king? The governors were also commanded to bow down. So, if he hadn't worshiped the image he would have been thrown to the firy furnace.
This part of the book of Daniel doesn't mention that Daniel was there at the time of the decree. From what we gather from Daniel's character though, we think he would be right there with his friends!
Brother Warren, I think the "seven times hotter" is a picture of the seventh thousand years of tribulation on earth that Daniel will later prophecy to King Nebuchadnezzar!
Brother Warren, I disagree that you are once saved and always saved. We are saved by Grace yes, but in Rom 6:1-2 we read: V1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? V2 Certainly not. How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (NKJV)
I don't know why a friend put this pastor and his book purpose driven life in a negative light.. I haven't read the book yet but kind of want to.. my friend said it's purpose driven not Christ driven. is that legit?
Nick B the book is great, I'd recommend it to you. I feel Pastor Rick's messages are always right in line with God's Word, he's one of my favorite messengers of God.
Nick you will find the answer my friend when you read the 40 Purpose Driven Life sticking to the whole 40 days journey 1chapter a day without any vices (I mean stay clean while you are on the Journey away from evil vices). Then the Holy Spirit of GOD will enlighten you to realize it is CHRIST who drove Rick Warren to wrote the book & it is CHRIST who will be guiding and directing our lives every step of the way+
