My cousin Larissa went to UO to play softball and do gymnastics and major in Biology she loved it and the best part is she was far away from me at college so we couldn’t fight like usual
I am an Oklahoma State University student thinking about Oregon State for grad school and it is so funny how similar they are. Both are OSU, both have orange and black as their main colors, both have a street called Monroe. When I heard you say monroe I was actually so confused

How are you able to afford renting in Corvallis?
Thank you! Curious why someone from out of state would choose Oregon State. Don't misunderstand me - I hope one of my kids chooses to go there because of the rowing program and distance from Portland and my parent went there. But curious what the draw was from out of state? Thanks! p.s. not sure anyone else has already said so but it's "take this with a grain of salt." ;)
The engineering school is one of the top in the nation. It’s also popular for comp sci and ofc the access to nature/outdoors

How long did it take for you to hear your admission decision as a transfer?
I applied on February 1st and got my admission decision on March 16th! I’m sure it varies person to person but about a month and a half for me :)
@@CarolynMorales What sounds harder to your ears? 1. Masters Degree in Mathematics or 2. Masters Degree in Statistics?

Why did you transfer to OSU? California has a better college system
Cali native here- not everyone likes the UC CSU system. They’re super impacted 💀 can hardly get into any of your classes. I specially it you’re bio or comp sci major. Everyone in the world comes to California colleges. They are not the end all be all of colleges. I went to UCI. My family went to UCB, UCLA, UCSD and UCSB. We all hated it and most did masters outside of Cali and liked them better or ended up transferring out of Cali for undergrad 🤡
