Now kinda outdated, in the opening of Splatoon 3's, Cuttlefish says to himself that Agent 3 used to be really clean, so he didn't bother checking how their old uniform was before giving it to New Agent 3

Actually, it was confirmed by Nintendo that after agent 8 escaped from the underground, agent 8 and agent 4 moved in together, with art to show it, and live in a nice little apartment. Not only that, but it’s shown in official art that 4 and 8 do hang out together.
Yeah, I found that art a few months after I posted this video lol. I remember I did see it sometime before I made this video but I couldn't find it when I was making it so I began to doubt that it existed.

Hisashi Nogami confirmed that the Inklings in 2 are 14. Agent 4 is nowhere close to 18. It is a meta joke, and a localisation add on, nothing more.
Also, you forgot this very interesting look into Agent 4's personality, in the reason they joined Team Chaos in the first place:
"Agent 4 is the type of squid who goes with the flow, even when the waters are raging. This silent squid values freedom and flexibility more than anything, and while it’s rumored that Agent 4 helped Marie save the world or whatever, I’m pretty sure that was mostly Marie’s idea."
Inkipedia has some cool insight too, like them having a hard work ethic with their eyebrows often depicted tilted down in concentration, and being skilled in a variety of weapons, compared to Three who likes Shooters best, and like using the Shooter and Dualies best since they're depicted with them more often.

Their society was closed off to men and they raised their daughters but would send their sons back off to their fathers [whom they would only socialize briefly only to reproduce.] I'm just copying the wiki btw; If you maybe have ever seen idk... Wonder Women, that's what the backstory of her character is I'm pretty sure.
The way I see Agent 4’s age is that they’re the same age as Agent 3 (16 years old as of Splatoon 2), but Marie didn’t have much contact with Agent 3 after the Splatoon 1 campaign so she still thinks of them as 14.
I love the ambiguity about the agents genders on splash arts because the inconsistency show the player is the canonical hero, this agent is my favorite one and I really appreciate you did a video about him...or she, anyways thanks!
Agent 4 is really cute. I mean not as cute as Callie but she is still pretty cute. Also, glad you got your switch back. It’s still pretty unfortunate that you got a reset but it could have been worse

I’m so happy that Agent 4 got this video because of the matter that Agent 4 gets straight up abandoned pretty much at a point in splatoon 3s leading up events and the agent hardly being remembered at all.

A headcanon I have for 4 is that Marie took them because she saw a bit of Callie in 4 (being energetic and such) and that they have great work ethic.

Marie mentioning that agent 4 was 2 years older than the original agent 3 was supposed to be a joke about the actual person playing being 2 years older than when Splatoon 1 came out but agent 4s canonical age is 14 so the dialog is incorrect

What if you don't do a specific character. What if you do "Everything you need to know about sanitized Octolings." There are a lot of sad and cool facts about them that can possibly make a really good video! You can tell the viewers how the Octolings got sanitized. It just sounds cool-

I think the reason Agent four is more of a girl than boy is because if you look at splatoon 3 SPOILERS (kinda)
Agent 3/captain the default gender if you don’t change it is a girl and I found out splatoon was aimed to females more than males so yea that’s just my theory A SPLAT THEORY
My theory on why we don’t see agent 4 anymore is because after the story mode they left the squid beak splatoon so that they could relax and have fun instead of working or studying like they did before joining the squid beak splatoon
Its funny that despite being older than 3 most fancomics depict agent 4 as the youngest
the gameplay is agonizing to watch and rots my essential splatoon skills away the more i watch it

8 is the weakest agent because they don't own any illegal weapons. They eventually get the octoshot and octobrush on the surface, but it's nothing compared to what the others can use. Agent 3 has unlimited specials, can roll without duallies, and has access to all the specials in the game. But agent 4 could easily overpower them with a level 3 hero shot. The idols are powerless in most situations. Weaponry is the best way to get a relative idea of power levels in splatoon. Logically, the top 5 would look like this :

Honestly, I think Agent 4 is a girl, because of the promotional material depicting them mostly as a girl. Another sign of proof is how if you don't have any of the Wii U data from Splatoon 1, in Octo Expansion or Splatoon 3, Captain 3 will be a female and will have the default tentacle bangs which were the main hair style for the female inkling in splatoon 1.

That one is only shown in the gas station
Slight correction: Agent 4 is either 16 or 18 in Splatoon 2. If you go by the dialogue Marie uses, Agent 4 would be 18, but if you don't, then the only thing to go off of is how the playable character in the games is actually getting older in real time (since Splatoon world goes in real-time for how long the period of events is). You can see from Splatoon 1, 2, and 3 that the player character is getting taller and older. It's why the "two years older than Agent 3" itself was even debated whether it meant 16 or 18, because people didn't know if it was a meta-joke about how the player/game is 2 years after Splatoon 1, and therefore the character is two years older than Agent 3 was in that game, or if it's because she meant 2 years older than Agent 3 would CURRENTLY be.
