How was Rick at fault in the first ep? Unity ghosted him after breaking up and he was totally in his rights to ignore their calls, same as they were for ghosting him cuz he can be a pretty toxic influence.

Them knowing "source's" whole life is not different from just seeing the person giving their consent on the spaghetti can for me. Same level of attachment. Especially, if it wasn't human-like species, but a brand of space chicken? Aside the ethical side of harvesting and exploiting species for such thing - no matter, if real animals or aliens, the whole story wouldn't change anything, because there is no actual meaningful connection there. I feel like most people would still eat someone's pet chicken even after knowing their whole life history. Not their own pet chicken maybe - but someone's else? Nah!
technically in america, states rights trump federal law. example in some states weed is legal and in that state you can have and smoke it in occorance with the state law but, it is illegal on the federal level. its like if it was legal in paris but the uk goverment saw it as illegal but couldnt do anything about it being legal in paris
