#6 actually makes sense. Despite what happened, we don't know how far Link went back. He could have all that knowledge of Ganondorf's plan but we don't know when he executed the plan. They could be like a year too early.

No he's only stated to steal from everyone it's never implied that he kills indiscriminately.
Even though Ganondorf wanted to save his people, he was still sentenced to death because he tried to do that by eradicating Hyrule, and the sages believed that Ganondorf would do something more outrageous should they let him escape.
Ganondorf: my motives weren't just out of a desire to save my people, I also wanted revenge on Hyrule for everything me and my people went through and my generation didn't even deserve it at the time.
also ganon is a good sportsman. I mean most of the time when link beats him he smiles.
I think we need a game where we play as Ganondorf, fighting for his people in some way, and crushing his enemies and such. Possibly to remove his curse and such.
I'm pretty sure this idea has poppet up a few times alredy, but it's fun to imagine.

Well... in my opinion, only 5, 4 and 2 could be true, in Wind Waker he doesnt seem evil at all, just having the "wrong" way to do it, but in other games, he looks way more evil, a lot of people seems to think that Wind Waker Ganondorf is the true Ganondorf while in the other games, is just the reincarnation of Demise, and thats something that he cant really do much about it...

What makes Ganondorf even less of a villain is the fact that he still wants to save the Gerudo even after they betrayed him and helped Link.

They say there's truth in jokes. Let's see if I can apply that here. Uh...would a villain care about how their hair looks? With the exception of facial hair, probably not. You can tell Ganondorf consistently has a well-groomed mop on his scalp. And in combination with his eyebrows and beard, he rocks it super well! A true villain would probably just let that head run wild.
If it's sexy then it's got a lot to do with everything.

There should be a zelda game where the chosen ones (Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf) break their curse. Hyrule would open a trade route between them and The Gerudo's, and Ganondorf wouldn't have to try to save his people by taking over other peoples land. I think it would be beautiful to see Ganondorf and Link working as friends. There would be no need for a hero because Ganondorf would just be a king, not an evil man. I mean if this happened that means there wouldn't really be any combat. Maybe there's something that all of the districts of hyrule would have to rise up as one to fight?

7- Power corrupts, he's still in full control as he can turn into the dark beast/pig thing and back anytime he wants.

5 - He's, the embodiment of hatred for the Goddesses, he's prejudiced against the Hylians' just because of their religion
4 - He makes his minions do all the dirty work
3 - King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule doesn't approve of his subjects being taken as sex slaves for the desert people, of course he'll opposes Ganondof!
This one's a bit hard to argue with but I'll give it my best shot ;-p
2 - It was the Gerudo King that caused the Goddessess to do something so drastic like flood Hyrule in the first place

Ganondorf doesn't care about sex slaves stuff especially since he didn't care if the girls that he imprisoned in the Wind Waker were broken free since he never bothered trying to go after them again. Not to mention he doesn't have any lustful desires towards Zelda in fact while he does respect her he still hates her. If anyone is lustful towards Zelda it's Vaati. @@chadpeterson5698 I had to watch the video again because I commented 5 years ago and have forgotten what reasons I was using as a basis. The Gerudo tribe kidnap men (like the carpenters in OoT) to procreate since they are all female. They don't go out and date like in BotW like reasonable people, excluding Risa of course.

Hyrule conquered the other tribes in a war that is occasionally mentioned in Ocarina of Time, and the king seems to expect everyone to obey him afterwards.
The OoT King of Hyrule may not be lovable like other Kings of Hyrule in the Zelda series, and may be even more evil than Ganondorf, unless he learns from his errors like his daughter, OoT Princess Zelda, who schemes and uses Link as a child, then apologizes as an adult for what she did, BECAUSE IT WAS WRONG.
Saying that Ganondorf is not a villian is like saying his Sega Counterpart Mephiles The Dark is not a villian.

I seriously agree with that Wind Waker thing! I already seriously thought that, before this video came out. I mean, c'mon, if you look behind the scenes of Wind Waker, this one isn't even a joke anymore. The gods flooded Hyrule. Ganondorf wants to bring Hyrule back to the surface. In order to do that, he'd never hurt ANYONE the entire game. He does quite some hard work to gather the ones posessing the triforce. He might have kidnapped Links sister, but he didn't even want to do that, it was the birds fault. He wanted do kidnap Zelda, not to hurt her, but just to have her help him. Even when Link was trying to rescue his sister, it wasn't Ganondorf who stopped him, it was the bird. Ganondorf just told the bird to get rid of Link when he showed him to Ganondorf, because he probaly didn't even know that he had kidnapped Links sister for mistake. He probaly wanted to give her back, but then the King of the red traitors appeared. At the point he appeared, it started to become a massacre against Ganondorf. He made him get all the Deamonts, which wasn't even a challene, so he could enter the tower of the gods, where Link was just trained to kill that poor old Ganondorf. He than was sent down to Hyrule. He finds out about sunken Hyrule and Zelda. The king doesn't even try to explain why he didn't save Hyrule. He sends Link "to get back his sister" and just unneccesarely orders Valoo to burn down GANONDORFS WHOLE FRIGGIN ROOM TO LIVE! Then he just imprisones Zelda, so Hyrule can't be saved (but Ganondorf worked hard enough to avoid that) and makes Link gather the skills to assassinate poor Ganny. When they clash at the tower, Ganondorf puts Link and Zelda to simple unconcsiousness, because he couldn't save Hyrule any other way, and RIHTFULLY GETS THE TRIFORCE, through HARD WORK and with GOOD INTENTIONS! But then, when he already spoke his positive wish, the King of Hyrule destroys everything Ganondorf rightfully worked for and takes the wish to finally sink Hyrule to its ultimate demise. It's just normal that he gets mad after all this hard work for a good sake, and tries to punish those traitors for dooming their homeland. And even then, he still has a bit of a peacefull mind left, and doesn't kill Zelda. The result of his nice personality? He gets turned into stone. And sinks together with the land he tried so hard to save.
He wanted to bring back Hyrule so he could take over and destroy it, just like in Ocarina of Time. The reason the gods flooded Hyrule was because during the time after Zelda sent Link back in time at the end of Ocarina of Time the land was without a hero so something had to be done.

The problem with bringing back Hyrule is that there would be massive waves and tidal waves on the surface. Some islands might actually get ruined, and become part of Hyrule. Also, think of the people on those islands. They would most likely suffer.

WHAT THE HECK?! Have you actually read the Hyrule Historia Timeline? After Ganondorf's plans were discovered, Ganondorf launched an attack on Hyrule Castle. This caused an entire war against the Hylians and the Gerudo called the Gerudo-Hylian War. And I can understand number 3, as that is already in a theory, but seriously... Good hygene? THAT'S ONE OF THE REASON'S THAT GANONDORF ISN'T A VILLIAN!? That is a stupid reason! I know some villians who's hair looks like that of a gods! Also, in Wind Waker, the people of the surface were living perfectly fine without Hyrule, but Ganondorf couldn't see that. He was refusing to leave the past in the past and wanted to bring back a land that would do who knows what to the islands and their people! And speaking of Wind Waker, the King of Hyrule understood that the people didn't need Hyrule anymore and he could except that. That's why he washed away the rest of Hyrule. To prevent people like Ganondorf from trying the change things into the way of the past. Also, in a war their do exist the good guys and bad guys. Just look at the World Wars. In that the heroes were the allies, and the villians were the Nazis! Even some of the Germans knew it! Also, just because someone is determined, that doesn't mean that they are the hero. Just look at Chara from Undertale. She was determined to escape the Underground like Frisk, but she killed every monster that crossed her path. I would like to see you try and make a video with ACTUAL reasons as to why Chara isn't a bad guy. Anyway, back to LoZ. Ganondorf would have a reason to hate the Hylians other than being the incarnation of a demon's hate. His people were hated for worshiping a deity that wasn't the Three Goddesses. They were also hated for doing the things that they needed to do in order to survive. Also, the Triforces DO NOT control their wielders in any way, shape, or form! If they did, then Link would be jumping into every single fight that he sees, and Zelda would become a scholar or librarian. So you can't use this as a viable reason.
Okay. I'm done. I hope the next time you make a video like this.... YOU DO THE DAMNED RESEARCH BEFORE YOU MAKE ONE! If your going to defend a villian, it would be best to have some viable evidence other than just what we see. I can understand if you feel like this an attack on your video, but this is coming from a fan that watched videos on Majora's Mask ( the actual mask ) and it's origins. I have seen a video that gives facts, theories, chances, and pieces together hints that Nintendo gives us to make a logical theory of Ganondorf NOT being evil.
