For anyone watching this, when you put the wheel on, the pointy end of the conical spring points towards the inside of the wheel hub, not towards the outside of the tires. And yes you have to put on both springs! Also, after you put the wheel on, you attach the light to the hub. Don’t mess up and attach the hub before you put on the light as well. Also, having a ratchet makes it easy to put the hub and light on the front wheel. The instructions, while they are written in plain English, do not have any pictures and don’t talk about putting on the light. And one other thing, the reddish orange part of the bike frame looks completely red in real life, but on Amazon and on camera it looks reddish orange.
