This happened to my neighbour in Bangalore he lost 98k. He is an IT professional, working from home... I was there on that day. The second issue of giving double the money happened to my friend's brother. Who lost 3 crores not joking. A couple of days back, I got a call with a recorded message saying your account needs to be verified and press 9 to know more about it.. immediately I cut the call... Thank you, anna, for bringing this out in public.

1) You are really a great soul as you were able to appreciate their 'screen play' 2) Please consider making a short drama to spread this message 3) Please publish the numbers from which you got the call so that it will help all 4) Before 4 months, i got a call claiming from Mumbai customs, and they have found 500gms of narcotics in a courier sent by me to Australia. I replied, saying that it's not 500gms but should be 2kgs . Also, i told him to check whether the human skull, which i had kept also is intact. He cut the call 5) Huge respects and thanks for sharing this very important and critical message

My parcel sent to Thailand from Mumbai has been confiscated since it carried drugs and that i had to prove my innocence. When I said I never sent any parcel they said my Aadhar was used along with my signature. When my journalist husband said that he would talk to the police commissioner directly...they disconnected the phone. Initially I got nervous and kept talking to them trying to convince my point.

Disconnected to get again in whatsapp which I blocked. Unfortunately true caller could not stop the scammer. Adhar & bank details can be got from any loan agency. Now in UDAI site one can go for masked Adhar card.

So sad... In an export group where I was consultant, a similar incident happened. We made a remittance of usd 20000 & later found that it was a fabricated fraud. Alternate days I get calls from 1. Forex dept.saying your parcel is returned. Press 1 2. Customs dept ..Regarding you courier sent is with held.. I just cut the call and block it
I got a call very long back ( 6 months back). They called and said some parcels like that. I said I do not parcel anyone to me and disconnected the call. Later I came to know this
That's a great needful msg for the current trend. I have gone through such calls and messages quite a many times and I need to post one long video if I have to share them. Many such unhealthy practices must be noticed by the Govt to make us feel that we are still safe,
Yes it's true. Their tactics is to first attack your psychology with the choicest of words which will not make you think otherwise. Personally I was scammed by a courier company and they asked me to download an app and I did it foolishly. But with Grace I immediately uninstalled it and did a factory reset on my phone. Once my phone started working after the reset the first call was from them and gave them back and cut the call. No matter how much we are prepared, there is a chance for us to fall for these scams. Only these kinds of awareness videos will help people. Thank you for sharing 🙏

100% i agreem my sister in law retired from.gujarat high court. She lost 5 lakhs in scam. Entire mobile and her account hacked. Hard earned money
