My Intuos Pro Medium arrives tomorrow. I have used Wacom tablets for about 15 years (yes, I had that clunky white thing you will note in the video) and I'm really looking forward to added functionality over the Intuos 3. This tutorial has guaranteed that I will be up and running with minimal fuss. So many great pointers. Thanks!
I bought a wacom intuos pro medium last month. I haven't got used to it. But this tutorial gave me more than just clue about how to use it. Thank you very much.
Hi Guys.....I bought an Intuos Pro a couple of months ago, and have to admit I am nervous about using it! That may sound dumb, but like with all new gizmos, its a case of diving right in! Thank you again Phlearn for giving me the shove I needed!
Hi MrAndreyvd! I disabled "zoom with scroll wheel" in PS-cc general settings. That solved my troubles with pinch zooming. Don't know if it will solve your poblem, but worth checking out. Good luck!
I have NEVER used the eraser tool since I learned about layer masks. They make the destructive EBT an obsolete tool. I also only use the "tragic wand" tool about once every couple of years, if that much.
I appreciate this tutorial, thank you so much! So, right away I'm challenged - I'm trying to set the preferences on the pen but I'm not getting the Opacity options on the right, make sense? So, I've clicked on Transfer in "Brush", to no avail, I don't have the option to select "Pen", ...can you tell me what li'l something I'm not doing, or missing? I made sure the top buttons are unclicked...thanks again, I'll get back to the video, and look forward to your reply!

Directly to the right of the power button is a small pin hole which contains a reset button. To reset the Wacom Intuos Pro, use the reverse side of the Pro Pen 2’s Nib to reset the tablet. Insert the reversed Nib straight into the hole and press firmly feeling the reset button depress. Hold for 10-15 seconds until the power light on the tablet turns off, then release. Once released the tablet will turn back on, and the memory on the tablet is now reset to default. **Note: Drawing files saved to the tablet memory will not be effected during this reset. >Mark

4:58 this, is the most irritating thing I've heard on almost EVERY single tablet tutorials. Which is imo only true for right handed users. And yet every tutorial makes it like they had to to this (e.g scrapping your mouse and use all of the mouse functions on the tablet) for lefties (and also those few amount of people who use their mouse on their left hand included) as well. I'm a lefty, and for all those 6 years I've spent using my wacom, I can confirm that I would still need my mouse regardless. Especially when my mouse is a gaming mouse which has a whopping eleven programmable buttons on it, and I can utilize it freely to help me improve my workflow while using my wacom. And there's also another inconvenience I'm sure all lefties experienced while using tablets, which is the position and the amount of space needed. Most used shortcuts on keyboards are located on the left side of the keyboard, hence offsetting the position of the keyboard to accomodate some space for the tablet, personally I never feel comfortable with that kind of setup even after 6 years of use. The nature of how the standard QWERTY keyboards are laid out is also one of the main factors here. Those right-handed users can easily say that you should scrap your mouse and use all of the mouse functions on the tablet is actually BECAUSE of how you positioned your tablet, which is located in the same position as your mouse. And that, I'm 100% isn't the case with lefties since they would have them in the opposite position, leaving the space for mouse still available to be used. Which also lead to more space needed unless you move the keyboard to where the mouse was. Sure, anyone can easily change the default shoftcut keys, but that will also lead to another inconveniece, which you would have to remap the shortcuts everytime you switch devices, not everyone sticking with only their own laptop/pc, y'know. Not to mention the amount of time needed for one to naturally get used with those newly placed shortcuts. You also can get by just fine using a custom macro boards which you can remap the buttons (these were actually meant for gamers but can be repurposed as designers tools, such as Logitech G13, Razer Tartarus and Orbweaver, Redragon KK585, etc), but that also means more money needed to spend and you would still need your normal keyboard for everything else.
Best tip - just use it for everything. You will never know how you managed without it later on. If coming from a magic pad on Mac, it's not as hard as coming from a mouse. To me, a mouse is so 1990s. Awful! These things are superior in all ways.

There is no scroll option with the stylus. You can move your cursor over to the scroll bar and press down and hold.
Moving from a PC to a MacBook Pro would I need an adapter to make it fit?
The Wacom tablet comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, you could use ether a USB-C to USB-C cable, or the Apple USB-A to USB-C adapter.

Before Apple
Tutorial with Aaron Rutter is the best cause in only 13min it explains more CLEARLY than
