His album release is the best representation overall I think. I highly recommend reacting to that even if you have to break it down into smaller videos. The runtime might look long but he talks for a bit and interacts with ARMY so you can skip that.
He was sick through the whole promotional period and you can see how dissatisfied he was with his performances in the behind the scenes in every one of them but he still did his best and he still did an amazing job
@@VWvanFanduring the “non words” part? (Not sure what to call it… ahhhs ? 😊 He also had something similar in SNTY when he sang the word “control”. I actually liked that better than the run he usually does there. AMAZING!
Jin actually did The Astronaut, his solo gift to ARMY. I can’t imagine why you were told not to do Jk &Usher, except for the fact that jk gave Usher half the song to himself to shine, not only in singing, but in dance, as well. It is an excellent remix, and you would really be missing something special if you did not watch it. Jk has so much content out on his solo work, your head would swim trying to catch it all. But every single performance is exceptional. In fact,to me, the Fallon Show was at the bottom of the list. That tells you how phenomenal his work has been. I am really, really, REALLY anxious to see how you respond to him doing Hate You. It is the epitome of emotion in voice. But then, so is Suga’s Amygdala. Just different emotions. Lol. I am so excited to see your upcoming reactions to this new time in BTS. Thank you for doing this so quickly!
@@cyann410 I love Jin's live performance at Coldplay's concert - maybe even a tad more than the official MV because of the wholesome chemistry between Jin and Chris Martin.

Also, I'm secretly hoping he has 6 background dancers so BTS will surprise us with a performance all together! One can dream.💜
You mentioned about the number of backup dancers... I don't have a direct answer, but I just want to mention that JK has been supported by some of the best choreographers/dancers in the industry from the time "Seven" was released until the whole album ("Golden") came out and promotions for it ended. Also, I am forever amazed at how stable JK's voice is even when he's dancing as if his life depended on it! 😁💜
I have this feeling - and it's literally only my own wonderings - that it's perhaps also easier for someone to perform in the formation they are accustomed to, with the same number of dancers??
Laughing at your reference to the speed with which JK moved his hands in the dance break ~ he is one of 2 members of BTS with a black belt in Taekwondo (Jimin is the other, who also studied Kendo for 8 years as well as Kumho, and a Chinese martial art as well). 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
If you want to do a reaction to choreography, definitely react to a video of this song with Usher. I'd love to hear your analysis of the choreo. There's so much to talk about there.

The Usher remix is terrific but not for Sam's show since there wasn't a live performance. I looked up Usher and his career is the same age as the members of BTS...
I agree @kizzy the Usher remix is awesome and yes he’s a legend. I also agree with a @diane since Sam likes live performances and there isn’t one with Usher it makes sense to react to on of JK’s amazing live performances. Also Diane, it’s nice that you looked up Usher, but you said same length of career as BTS and that isn’t correct at all. Usher’s been doing this for nearly thirty yrs. His debut album came out in *1994* He’s still makes and performs so his career is a lot longer. BTS have been ten years into their amazing careers and once they’ve completed their service obligations to their nation, they’ll be back and hopefully will have a long successful run like Usher
@mp893 Thanks for clarifying the issue for me, I really couldn't understand why they would discourage him from listening. Knowing that his vocal critique focuses on live performances, it all then makes sense. Yes, Usher has been performing since he was a child, and like JK, started officially training at 13. @@mp893 I think Diane was saying that Usher's career has as many years (30) as the approximate ages of the members. His debut was around the time they were born.

You should absolutely, totally take a listen to the Usher remix (though they have not performed it live together -- they did a performance music video for it, which is phenom). It is a fantastic remix, and the video is fabulous with the both of them dancing.

The Usher remix was amazing! Not sure why anyone would tell you not to watch it. Maybe they meant to watch his original song first. Please react to the Usher remix!!! ❤
Loved this! You made me laugh out loud and you were spot on in your assessments. 😁 Please check out JK’s Audacy live performance set. He did several songs from Golden and he’s great. It’s like a showcase and has really cool/creative staging too.
Thank you ! Please react to the same song at iHeart Radio live without backup dancers and his other song "HatevYou" live at iHeart Radio. We would love to know your analysis there, pleeeaaassseee 🫶👌 Thanks again!
He did an amazing guerrilla style concert on Times Square that was great, you can search it as Jungkook TSX. He did his hit singles and a couple B sides from Golden. Dancing and live vocals to enjoy!
@@evantesseract737 Agreed! The video is awesome. And I love that JK got to work with one of his idols. But that second verse is one of my favorites from JK so when I just listen, I usually listen to the original version.
Mr Thorne, you’re the first vocal coach that explains how Jungkook uses his vocal skills that Andrew Watt American producer, songwriter sees in JK. He had the song for a year looking for someone to sing it. He said Seven will be a hit if Jungkook sings it. Watt is also involved in Standing Next To You.
You are so much fun to watch! Your own performance, (especially the hair )😏 PRICELESS! I really enjoyed this performance. I Love dancing, and JK did them both. The MV was very good as well.
RM also did a Tiny Desk concert, as well as renting out an art museum (Dia Beacon) to record a few live performances of his new songs. I really think the best performances to react to would be fro his Rolling Hall concert though. It's a small venue (200 lucky army got tickets by lottery.) Wild Flower is his title track, performed with the lovely Youjeen of the band Cherry Filter. A couple other songs from that set that I thought really stood out are All Day and Closer. This video has timestamps, so it'll be easy to find them. You should also check out j-hope at Lollapalooza! The whole performance can be found on bangtantv's channel. His set starts around 2:40, with a short intro track from the album leading into the performance of his title track, More. Equal Sign, a fan favorite, starts around 22:40. He did so well, being the first member to strike out and do solo work. And Yoongi! SUGA actually did a whole tour for his solo album, it was incredible. However, I'm actually going to request that you react to his live performance of SDL at Agust D: D-Day Movie Night. This one also has a timestamp. He's worked so hard on his singing, and it's better quality than most of the videos you're likely to find of the concert (as far as I know, there hasn't been an official release on YT of any footage.)
5:42 wHAT?!?!? Jungkook is the only other person I have ever heard say something like that lol he hears music and visualizes what it would look like drawn out lol also not only was that part with the notes going up and down like that but he’s also doing that part all in one breath each time while dancing like that lol wow
Thaks a lot again! It's very pleasant for my eyes & ears watching your videos. It's very honest & detailed & for me it's a chance to increase my vocabulary & for my ear your pronounciation is very delicious . JK ' s English is also so much better !!! & the song is without a doubt GREAT!🇺🇦♥️🏴
Great reaction and analyze of this video! Thanks for pointing new reference to idols or artist I didn't know yet. Looking forward to more content like this one! PS. Don't worry about stopping the video almost last second, it's make for a perfect moment we can laugh of all together ^_^. BTW....If you liked JK's solo debut and want to listen to the rest, there are ton of live performances of almost every song
The Usher remix performance both vocal and visual is worth watching if you haven’t. I believe Usher himself has a role in the writing or producing of the song. Please double check though. Personally I just want to share my love for the artist/s, song/s, and performance/s. I don’t have to see you share that publicly here. Thanks for sharing 💜
First time I hear it, it reminded me a bit of George Michael and a lot of Michael Jackson (who is Jungkook's and I think K-pop'd inspiration in general).
Funny that you noted the number of backup dancers because I wondered the same thing. He spent a lot of time with those guys and I wondered too if he found some comfort in his solo time having a group of guys to joke around with.
I really appreciate they guys using 6 backups to make 7. I think they are comfortable in this number and really know how to make a performance cohesive and amazing. If I’m not mistaken most of the guys have done this during their solo projects. ❤
After watching a handful of your BTS reaction videos that I thoroughly enjoyed, I finally subscribed to your channel! I love how you go through the technical vocal details of their singing! Also, the Beyonce and Soul Train references I heard first from you, most were talking about MJ homage, how he sounded like JT etc.. So it's a treat to hear about it. Looking forward to more BTS from your channel!
Jungkook really missed his members for his solo work and did have a great close relationship with the backup dancers who stepped up to be brothers to him 🥺
There are many more amazing performances from JK, but also the others have done a lot. Each of them with their own flair and style, which I find really cool to have all that variety. Definitely second the "V - tiny desk" performance, it is amazing (and a wonderful band with him)! And from Jimin, I'd suggest a live performance of "set me free pt 2", he did a couple of music shows with that one, and it's something you probably wouldn't quite expect from him. From Jin we have one single, his "goodbye" song "the astronaut", just not a full album yet. He performed it once, in Argentina during one of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres concerts. If you want to check that out, there are videos that include Chris' introduction (for example on the Enjoy BTS More channel), which I'd recommend including as well, as it shows the relationship between the bands, and how the song came about.
The whole album is wonderful! in addition to the more catchy SNY there is "Hate you" which vocally and emotionally is incredible..."Somebodies" is surprising in terms of voice and made the "haters" go wild, he responded to them live without the music!! iconic!!This Album is truly “Golden” 🤗💜💜💜
Great commentary on his vocals and the song. Everyone has been pointing out how many ways this song is unique in it's production. One reviewer wrote an article about how this might be the only pop song ever to have a certain chord progression in it. I'm not a musical whiz so I didn't know exactly what he was talking about. But it is the part of the song where you said JK was belting out the words. "It's deeper than the rain; it's deeper than the pain; when it's deep like DNA". Anyway, for the other members you should definitely check out V's Tiny Desk Korea concert. It's truly mesmerizing! His voice is so special. He also has a live band and backup singers for this performance. Then don't miss Jimin's solo album FACE. His MV's "Like Crazy" and "Set Me Free Pt.2" are ground-breaking. Then Suga's solo album is exciting and deep. His fast-paced rap is infectious and clever. For his album "D-Day", he goes by the name Agust-D. Then RM did a Tiny Desk back in late 2022 that is really great. His rap style is jazzy and alternative sounding. Finally J-Hope did a fun song with J-Cole, his personal idol. Enjoy!!

@@mp893 I think Diane was saying that Usher's career has as many years (30) as the approximate ages of the members. His debut was around the time they were born.
***** Good Point on Dancing. One of the, BRIAN PUSPOS, is Someone JK whose Dancing He Has since He Was a TRAINEE. ALL of These DANCERS are CHOREOGRAPHERS in Their Own Right. You REALLY Need to see the MV, Directed By TANU, MUINO from the Ukraine. She's worked with HARRY STYLES, LENNY KRAVITZ, LI.L NAS Z & Others.
This is phenomenal.. 🔥 BTS forever 💜♾️💟💜🔥✌️🇮🇪
JK is a global superstar ✨🌟
jk king❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I love your reaction 💜💜💜💜
In addition to Jungkook’s beautiful vocal skills, he has swag and it factor.
You should absolutely, totally take a listen to the Usher remix (though they have not performed it live together -- they did a performance music video for it, which is phenom). It is a fantastic remix, and the video is fabulous with the both of them dancing.
Thank you for reacting to SNTY by JK💛 I really love JK’s amazing vocals and his charismatic stage presence. You may like to check out JK’s other performances:

"I once was the choreographer of BTS in my mind," is probably one of my favorite things anyone has ever said 😂
Gracias por reaccionar a #jungkook, standing Next to You ,te recomiendo escuchar todo el álbum GOLDEN ,no te arrepentirás,te enamorará de principio a fin ❤
You hafta watch the MV for this song. It really should win awards. Also I loved his performance of this on iheart radio when he dances it by himself. Really seems like Michael Jackson there! ❤
The Usher remix was amazing! Not sure why anyone would tell you not to watch it. Maybe they meant to watch his original song first. Please react to the Usher remix!!! ❤
I'm so happy you're back with your btz reactions. I've missed you!
I enjoy you so much Sam. What you said about jk robbing you 7 times??😂😂😂 thx for the reaction!💜
We would love to know your analysis there, pleeeaaassseee 🫶👌
Thanks again!
Jin did Astronaut, before he went into service. He also sang with Cold Play, in Argentina, before enlistment. It was very good.
He did an amazing guerrilla style concert on Times Square that was great, you can search it as Jungkook TSX. He did his hit singles and a couple B sides from Golden. Dancing and live vocals to enjoy!
I legit snort laughed so hard when u said he could rob u seven times with how fast he moved his hands
The Usher version is fine…there’s just less JK in it because Usher takes the whole 2nd verse.
Yep... But I love the video of it, watching two legends playfully dance together is so good!
@@evantesseract737 Agreed! The video is awesome. And I love that JK got to work with one of his idols. But that second verse is one of my favorites from JK so when I just listen, I usually listen to the original version.
If I were.you I would also check.out the Usher version too.
As a BTS choreographer, you've got to watch and react to Standing Next To You video with Usher.
I love your reactions. You actually talk about his voice anfd what hes doing and it makes me so happy.
Hahaha. My guy, I missed these. Always a laugh and insightful too!
I love hearing you talk about music. But the best are your comments in between. They make me laugh so much. Thank you for another BTS related video.
5:42 wHAT?!?!? Jungkook is the only other person I have ever heard say something like that lol he hears music and visualizes what it would look like drawn out lol also not only was that part with the notes going up and down like that but he’s also doing that part all in one breath each time while dancing like that lol wow
The standing next to you remix with usher is legendary. Check it out and the video as usher and jk dance together which is iconic.
Have you watched the astronaut live by Jin at cold play concert? It’s also the best thing in the world!
Oh my goodness, I see shapes when I hear sounds too! I’m always telling my voice students to visualize a hill! 😂
Jin released Astronaut before his enlistment and performed it with Coldplay in Argentina. Highly recommended!
Jungkook really missed his members for his solo work and did have a great close relationship with the backup dancers who stepped up to be brothers to him 🥺
Oh dear I'm in love with your sense of humour 😂💜😂💜😂💜
V tiny desk is essential - SO GOOD
HI!! I follow you from Italy!! I love your reaction videos, I love bts and Jungkook! and I also love your Panda, go Panda picture!
Enjoy!!
I always think that as well…the 6 backup dancers(here they are well known choreographers/dancers) but I do think that number is intentional
10:11 !the only reason he would put a microphone down is if you were gonna dance - HE HAS BEEN DOING THE DANCING!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
