This problem happens in almost every parametric CAD programs. It's usually not reccommended to use complex surfaces as a base for other downstream features. It will usually cause weird problems in subsequent features. Emboss is a tool that usually produces such complex geometry. It should only be used for final touches like adding a logo on a complete product. Using this for base modeling is usually asking for trouble.
The way to avoid this problem is to apply the emboss the way Kristian suggests in this video. You have to uncheck "tangent chain" and individually select just the FLAT FACES as he shows you here, otherwise you won't get 10 edges per rib. When you're done, you can apply the 1mm fillet INDIVIDUALLY to each of the ribs and it works fine. Hope this helps someone!
I have done som testing with similar shapes and the problem with the fillet dimensions is hard to reproduce. It might be a "perfect storm" causing the problem with this model.
Three days in from being brand new to Fusion. I'm getting a crash, every time I attempt to emboss on this tutorial. Happens when I'm selecting the emboss surface. Have tried it without the circular ends and even tried the same thing on the top flat face of the Day 1 logo brick! Crashes every time!
It's frustrating that months after that update they have not fixed that bug. Not nice to have to use roundabout ways for it to work and it not guaranteed to work with every shape or workflow. Even unselecting the tangent chain selection, selecting the sketch first then the face/s I get a deformed embossed blob instead of a simple circle on a single curve surface/face most of the time if it's part of a more complex shape.
The selection part in the dialog box I'd consider a bug or bad design. But the geometry is not a "bug" in my opinion, it's not desired and lacking tools controlling the emboss.
Also there must be another bug as sometimes when applying fillet the Fusion just go to non responsive and crashes, happened so many times and with such regularity, I always save everything before I apply it and when it crashed I hope it recovers or at least leave recovery file in crash dump, that's not always the case, great software, but these bugs are just too much of productivity kill, I have lost count of hours wasted and I'm running on relatively high end desktop gaming PC.

Good to know. After launch I was having an issue wrapping text around spheres, now it seems to work well when text is vertically centered.
There will always be the problem of wrapping a flat paper around a sphere :)

You could post the problem and file on the official forum for some troubleshooting from other users. It can be a bug or something else.
