I wonder, how do rack toms work on the stealth rack (GSSMS). I use all rack toms, floor included. Allready have the GSVMS but just afraid it will not work. using Pearl toms. Thnx
I don’t recommend mounting hanging floor toms to the GSSMS. The way that the weight is distributed may cause stability issues. Thanks for your question!
That's almost my current setup at the back of the room: 13 x 9 / 16 x 16 / 24 x 14 with a 14 x 6½" Pearl Free Floating steel snare drum. 1up & 1down, hi hat, 2 crashes and a ride. Pearl Wood-Fiberglass shells and Paiste Signatures with TAMA Pro hardware and Iron Cobra hi-hat and Rolling Glide pedals. So the only thing I need a rack for is to hang up my coat. Interesting video though and it's good stuff to be aware of. Thanks, Brett! P.S. I do use Gibraltar cymbal felts, sleeves, washers and wing nuts, as they're all excellent quality. And I also have a monstrous Gibraltar ball clamp with a 12.7mm post hanging on my right-hand TAMA Pro crash stand, which holds a slightly customised* Meinl 8" hammered chrome Kenny Aronoff cowbell. Total overkill, but that thing is a beast! *I filed out the socket on it and installed a thick rubber grommet as insulation and it fits the post perfectly.
Hey Gibraltar, can that stealth rack be configured to hold 2 pearl toms with their optimount tom arms?
Martin Metz yes, but you will need an extender tube that will allow you to get the drums at the proper height. Have a look at the SC-78ASE
Now that’s a great kit

Be honest, you had legos as a kid, didn't you?

So whats the deal with the generic drums? What kind of drums are those?
Dan Rivera these drums are non branded, and meant to shine the light on the hardware
GibraltarDIY 😐🙁 I get that they are not branded. Now let’s brand em. We can’t have generic drums out there.🤨
They look a bit like Pearl Exports ...
I love it 🥰
Why does called the stealth rack?
Tieu Kha Vu because of how low profile this set up is
