My friend recently purchased s24 ultra in dubai and he mentioned a issue that the 5x lens has a foggy issue inside the lens itself.

I would like to bring to your attention a related issue that I encountered with my recently received Galaxy S24 Ultra, which I purchased from a Samsung store on January 30th.
When using the device, I have noticed a significant image shift problem when switching between zoom lenses (3x, 5x etc.) in auto mode. Also, I have noticed a barn door type transition in the camera viewfinder when switching to 3x and 5x lenses. Despite my attempts to replicate the problem in Samsung Store devices, I was unable to do so. This leads me to believe that the problem lies with the hardware of my device indicating a possible malfunction. I'm not sure this is something that can be fixed via software update.
This phone is getting very hot within 5 to 10 minutes, I want to request Samsung to provide me a new phone as soon as possible otherwise I will file a consumer court case. Despite purchasing such an expensive phone, why should I repair this phone?
As a loyal Samsung user for an extended period, I'm disappointed that such a quality concern exists in a flagship device. I have high expectations from the performance and reliability of Samsung products. And this issue falls short of those expectations.
Attention to this matter and look forward to a speedy resolution.

Hi bro.. This seems to be like a software issue. This happens when you continue to use the camera for extended period. This issue disappears once u close the camera app and reopen it. Every phone has some or other lag issue or bugs. Even iPhone 15 pro max has issues like sometimes it wouldn't wake up with single tap on display.. sometimes u have tap it twice or sometimes press power button and many more similar lags. Sometimes even camera app wouldn't open. But you can never demonstrate it in the showroom display phone because they are all tweaked to perform exceptionally as they are always connected to power and charging.

I encountered similar problems, but when I close the camera application and reopen it, the issues disappear. Occasionally, this problem arises when the subject is very close. I believe it is a software issue because as soon as I close the camera application and retake the same subject, the problem vanishes.

Thanks for the information. My new S24 Ultra was showing electric current leakage onto the metal frame while it was charging and I got electric shocks. Shared video evidence with Samsung Support India and asked them to replace my device. Initially Samsung refused to accept the issue and gave a ludicrous explanation that this is normal and is due to the Titanium build of the device. On challenging this explanation with logic and additional proof from the testing of another S24 Ultra device(which didn't have this issue), Samsung Support finally accepted that there is some issue with my device. However, they did not replace my device; instead they offered a refund. There is some serious Quality Control issue with some of the S24 series devices. Samsung is misusing its brand name and selling inferior quality products at hefty prices.😅
With S23, I feel that the white is too warm in the display. Does anyone feel the same as me??

This sensor shift issue is not new to S24 alone. My one year old S21FE has this issue from day 1 of purchase.

Samsung service centres are sending people back by saying it's a feature. I wonder what the use of the feature to make video experience is worse? @Samsung is not acknowledging this issue either.

Samsung did not push any update yet bro. They used to push immediately after the launch. S23 and s22 got updates with fix. For s24 we did not get any updates yet

I am having faded display.. low light camera issues.. I am in contact with Samsung service center and customer supports for hours.. still no resolution .. They are not saying a software upgrade is coming.. looks like 10 yrs old display and camera. Disappointed
@@prabhupk3709 have spoke about this to Samsung bro. Let us wait for the update. We are yet to get the update. Samsung used to push updates once the phone is made available to public. This year we did not get yet
But I felt the display looks more balanced in terms of colors(still vibrant but not oversaturated) and has deeper black than any other Samsung phone. Also, white looked better in this phone, seeing many review videos.

Hi brother. In s24 ultra when users zoom from 4.9x to 5x there happens a big switching kind action. Usually it should seamlessly move between sensor. That's the issue bro. Kindly check and get the device replaced

@@Sivabharani bro most time if the person who claims the issue in the service centre is kind of bugging guy, and if he go and escalate it further, and if the service centre can’t provide him a proper solid response like it is a software issue or hardware issue, this kind of solution will be arrived and they provide DOA just to close this issue. Just because one service centre providing DOA for this problem, doesn’t mean that Samsung accepted it is a hardware issue. You know that very well. Whoever the Samsung representative who took the decision of providing a DOA for that guy’s device would have been severely punished or might have got fired by now, as that DOA form screenshot created all the ruckus in twitter. This is 100% not a hardware issue. Samsung will not come forward and issue a statement on this for sure as that would amplify the issue to all other markets in the world. They would amicably fix it in the upcoming software update or they will inform the service centre and their sales representatives that will be fixed in next couple of updates.
When many have bought this phone with all their hard earned money, they would be absolutely terrified by now because of that twitter guys post. What he is doing is wrong and he will realise it once he get the replacement device and notice that claimed issue exist in that device too 😂😂😂

Bro, it's not hardware issue.. it shows don't have much knowledge about the camera lens working.
If you have s24ultra go to camera settings>camera assistant > turn on auto lens switching.
This option is disable then only you face the issue actually its not issue lens switching in physically like that.
Check and understand 💯 then you put videos in youtube..it's false acquisition your followers trust you don't loose your trust.

They did not push any update as well. Why they are this slow this year. They should address the customers request soon
