Best of all, this is a sleeper....no one recognizes that it's a monster!

The interior was blah, the seats weren’t comfortable and I couldn’t stand the archaic transmissions lever from the steering column. I’ve been quite happy with my Raptor, so much so I’ve tuned it up to 589/640, out of 6 cylinder no less. Quite happy with my purchase.
I was looking at the raptor too, but it seemed too "plasticky" to me, damn fine truck though. I just bought the high country yesterday and the seats are less than desirable

I actually like that the seat backs are firm, for my back that works well, but the seat cushions are definitely a little too hard. Other than that really happy with it. Have the 6.2 and love it. My first v8. I had an EcoBoost lariat before, I dont think the 6.2 is a lot faster, but yeah the sound really does make it better.
I used to think the raptor was the only Ford I'd own...then while towing a car to a race with my son in his raptor the thing stopped right in an intersection. 2019 model. Down 2 weeks now. First the Ford dealer replaced the battery, then tried replacing the alternator. I'm not sure it's still out of the shop 2 weeks later. Had to drive the vette home. Not good for the Ford!

I'm a Chevy guy, however Chevy always seems to be a step or two behind the competition when it comes to the interiors. For years it was the mechanicals, body style, suspensions and interiors......now the mechanicals and suspensions are catching up and finally body improvements ...but they still lack the interior refinements....too much carry over from previous models.
Just preference but least favorite interior of the big 3 but they finally have the exterior looking good. I'd like to have a new Ram Rebel with GM's 6.2 liter and 10 spd auto.
The 6.2 is a unicorn, they are rare to non existent on dealers lots. You can’t get them in anything less than an LTZ trim level,you may as well just compare the 5.3 that’s what 99 percent of the trucks have.
John DiMartino For 2020 , the 6.2 will be available in more trims . The RST , LT trailboss and Custom trailboss will have the 6.2 available as and option . Along with a Performance package for the 6.2 , upping hp to 435 and torque to 469 ftlbs .

The 10 speed is having issues already like Ford with banging and clunking like the 8 speed. Also there's absolutely no MPG gain. Hopefully the refresh that's coming will update the interior it's just boring. I bought a 18 High Country 6.2L just because of what GM did with the next generation
@@thehunter9149 You're correct. Eco is far from junk, but after owning V8s for 25 years and then going to an Ecoboost I can confidently say I'll never go back. I love innovation. Ford is on the cutting edge. My gen 1 Ecoboost has been flawless since 2013 and it's only going to get better.
Does the rear doors have the button on the outside handle to unlock? It seems ltz and below does not have it for 2020. Also can you review the drive modes on the tow haul/ mode button?

Stephen Galvan Those are impressive numbers but you can’t hate an ecoboost going past the 200,000 marker that’s impressive enough on its on being turbo I just hate when people hate on the engine, its a monster, I got a Windsor 351 94 f150 too but it can’t touch that ecoboost, sure its a long lasting engine but if I had a powerful engine last 200,000 miles and break on me after use and abuse, vs my the dinosaur ol reliable. I’d take the power, life is too short for playing the game safe 😂

Don't think it matters they are all pretty much equal when it comes to power the limited f150 will smoke the 6.2 silverado/Sierra. The problem is the new silverado looks cheaply built and is the ugliest truck of all the Ford still looks better but it has cheap plastic materials as well and they are both unreliable and way overpriced. I'd say everyone's best bet is to buy the new ram 1500 it is the cheapest of the three with the best quality interior and biggest crew cab configuration the 5.7 is equal to the 6.2 when it comes to power not number wise but real world wise if you get what I mean, plus the ram has the most stylish exterior as well and the backseats recline in the crew cab. The silverado was 3rd in sales due to the ram being a more handsome well built stylish truck I'd say the f150 only won due to people being brand loyal so if anyone is in the market for a brand new truck I'd say the best option is the Ram 1500.

I had a rental full size Silverado with the 4cycl in it. It was dreadful. Not to mention. It drove like an 80s caddy. It bounced all over the road. I've driven all GM trucks with all gas engines. The only engine to even consider is the 6.2L. I do like the RVM camera. But the interior is boring like the F150. Rams got that licked. But I can't believe your still calling the Ram a Dodge. It's been like a decade dude lol

Semi Auto Yeah I went with a 19 f250 Powerstroke...it’s not perfect either but mine was “only” $65k out the door and has a great engine. Interior could use some quality upgrades. But I heard here on TH-cam that even the new Chevy 5.3 are consuming oil a lot. And the 8-spd tranny is still only so-so on reliability. Hopefully yours has 6.2/10-spd for that kinda cost.
The only one is the limited with the high output. Car and driver pulled faster times with a Sierra Denali and a Silverado with the 6.2 then any other ecoboost they have tested. The gms lost a few hundred pounds in 2019
The 6.2 should be the standard engine for GM's pickups. The ford ecoboost will kill the 6.2 in acceleration. Not enough power for the this engine and associated fuel economy.
Not really car and driver tested them at sea level and the 6.2 was faster than the regular 3.5 and a little slower than the high output in the newer limited.

All those camera angles are good and all but after the camera went out on my KIA, all I can think of is, just another electronic gadget that will eventually fail, and if you've become dependent on it, it is something you will really miss.

@@gmrtg1414 not sure why posted this link. It clearly says the fastest that Motor trend has tested. Every truck on this list is either out of production or an extended cab. The fastest truck you can buy from the factory is the F-150 single cab short bed with the 5.0, 2.7 or 3.5 EcoBoost. I know you are a huge GM 6.2 guy but that engine is not available in a single cab, short bed configuration in America. Check out the link below. redd7188 Correct but in a 4x4 crew cab it’s one of the fastest. The F150 Limited with the 3.5HO is the only one I think that’s posted faster times on the same track same day.
