    I needed phone service to check on my dog and plants while away. Definitely recommend doing it through your phone service. For Verizon Mexico is included. Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay are $10 a day. Just make sure your phone doesn't start an update and not complete it before leaving the port!! That happened to me in Jamaica and then I didn't have my phone for the rest of the trip.

    My family of 4 was able to use the large package on a 7 day cruise. We even had to burn it up at the end because there was so much left over. A good tip is to ALWAYS log out of the wifi when you’re finished. It’s annoying to log in and out every time but that really keeps you from burning through the data like that

      Caleb thank you so much for the tip! Logging on and off is an excellent way to not burn through it!! Thank you!

    T-Mobile gives us free cellular in Caribbean includings Bahamas, Mexico, and virtually all islands except Cuba (which we were warned against by text). As your ship enters range of each new cell tower, you get a text welcoming you. You get unlimited data up to 2G speeds and texts at no charge. Calls are 20 cents a minute.

      Wow! I am LOVING the welcome text it sends you!! I have Verizon 😞 I always get so nervous as to when I can use my phone and when I can’t 💰💰

    You are officially my new favorite TH-camr!! I have been watching all of your previous videos. I haven’t seen anything yet about small babies and strollers. I will be aboard the Dream with a one year old in June. I think we will need a stroller to get him from one place to another, thoughts?

    So using Disney’s navigator app uses Wi-Fi that you have to pay for?

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it doesn’t. You can use it on airplane mode just fine 👍🏻😃

      @@DisneyCruisers Oh ok thanks! So it doesn't count towards the 30 MG you get for free on day one?

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No... BUT if you wait until you are out to sea to download the DCL app.. then it will. So just make sure you download the app before you get to the cruise terminal!

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, and it is 50 free not just 30 :) --- but even then, it goes really really fast.

      @DisneyCruisers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wish I could say you would be able to get Wifi that will benefit you, but it is not that good. If you are going to another port you could get off the ship and go to a restaurant that has wifi. Ask the crew members on board and they can point you in the correct direction :)

    Hi Ashley! I found you today and subscribed and have watched almost all of your videos! Side note, 1,800 subs! Woo Hoo! Anyhow, my family are Florida Residents too and we are also Disney Annual Passholders. I love your videos but have a few questions. Maybe a videos worth if questions? First off, what is a good price per night for a Florida family of 2 adults and 2 kids per night? I am trying to figure out what is a good rate to look for a 7 night cruise. Also, could you do a video on hidden/additional fees? Like, how much is parking? Is kids club included? Additional tips besides the $12 per person per day? What time of year do you typically cruise with school aged children? I am not wanting to go a cheap inside room but looking to get the most bang for our money for a veranda. Thank you so much! And also, yes, I love your cup! :)

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The parking just increased at port canaveral... I am pretty sure it is like $22 a day.. or about that. You pay a flat fee depending on how many nights long your cruise is.. and you can pay this with a credit card. Kids clubs are included.. the only extras you will pay for are: nursery babysitting, cans of coke, movie theater candy and popcorn, alcohol, merchandise, tips for room service. It is very possible to go on your cruise and spend zero money :) But you also could go crazy and buy thousands of dollars worth of stuff lol. I only cruise with florida resident rates, unless a family member goes with us and we need to go at a time that works for them. We also travel in the fall, winter and spring, because those are the best rates for residents.. and the most options. They dont really release any florida rates for summer cruises because they fill up. We are two adults and 2 kids as well. For 7 night cruises, i try to stay in the 3000-4000 range. Also, not all type of rooms are available when using the florida rate, so I take what is available :) Hope this helps some. If you have more questions feel free to ask!

    Can you only use the free 50MB on the first day or the whole cruise?

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to register the first day... and then you get it for the entire cruise but it goes very fast

    Hi Ashley, I am wondering if I put my phone on airplane ✈️ mode would my apps still be running 🏃 or updating in the background? Also can the wave phones 📱 communicate with the Disney Cruise app on your phone?

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just know that if you put your phone in airplane mode you will have to manually reactivate your wifi to connect to the ship's wifi. The wave phones cannot connect with the app.. BUT THEY SO SHOULD DO THAT!!!!

    • @DisneyCruisers
      @DisneyCruisers  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That will work but you need to make sure your phone carrier (if that is who you pay for your hot spot) charges you for international. I would call them or go online - it should be covered as bahamas.
