Cool video and comparison. Neat to have all those examples in one room. I 100% agree on the stock bobber seat. It does look amazing on the bike. Which is my i was in no rush to swap out. If I could get a Corbin in the exact same colours I would. Longest ride if done on the stock seat was 750km. It was a bit of a bear. But I’ve got 12,500km and I think the seats getting better. That or my butts just permanently numb now
Jay Fast thanks for the compliments on the video. I hear ya on the seat. I didn’t want to swap it out but after a 2 hour ride I knew I had to. Your buddy got a kick ass bike man congrats to him
Just put in my order for a Corbin Touring Seat and a T-BackRest for my 2016 Victory Cross Country Tour. Am definitely anxiously waiting on mine to come in.
So, I rented one on Saturday in Nashville at Music City Indian (great people and great experience there BTW!) and rode the Natchez Trace Parkway all day. About 4 hours in the seat total. My ass HURT. Had to take frequent breaks. And my lower back wasn’t much better. I hope when I get mine the Corbin seat solves this problem!
CMDR Fly Auburn the longest I did on the Corbin was 3 hours only stopping for gas and a quick bite. The rest of the time we were riding. I was a little uncomfortable for the last 10 minutes. IMO it’s a major improvement over the stock seat. I couldn’t go more than 45 minutes. The seat is stiff at first, Corbin says 2k miles break in but it didn’t take that long. My first ride on it was a little over an hour. No issues with it, best money I’ve spent on my bike.
😂 “if you wanna get info outta someone put them on this seat” Bro I couldn’t agree more, this video gave me exactly what I needed to make my decision to get this exact seat from Corbin except I got the tan bomber jacket leather and black vinyl sidewalls with heat added. Thank you so much for putting this video up, helped me out perfectly. I wasn’t expecting the heat to be that great but holy shit dude I think there’s a small furnace inside this thing, it like starts feeling like it’s burning you after 30 minutes it gets so hot. Relative question regarding your install btw- Did you by chance have any issues getting your seat on for the first time? Like super hard to get it to seat? And do you have any issues with it scraping the paint on the rear fender? Mine was so tough to seat the first time I had to use my woodworking clamps to get it on. Then when I got it off after letting it stay seated for a week (was afraid I would need to clamp it again if it didn’t get used to being seated) I realized it scraped the front of my rear fenders paint off. Like down to bare metal. About an inch by an inch spot. Edit: I just read one of the other comments about you saying the scout and scout bobber pins being different, now I’m wondering if they gave me the wrong pin cuz I do have the bobber.
The first time was a b!tc to get the seat on, it was the same way with my wife’s Scout seat. I’ve heard of people getting bent pins from Corbin, the got warped during welding. Some people couldn’t get the seat on at all but Corbin made it right.
That heated seat sounds legit, don’t it was available when I got ours. I don’t need it but my wife is always cold lol. We don’t get a really long winter here.
Jeez, are there any seats out there for the scout that look this good, can get it to look almost exactly stock like Corbin’s options, are comfy as hell, but aren’t nearly as wide as the Corbin? I’m still thinking of the corbin but didn’t realize it was so damn wide compared to stock and i really want something that I can move around and get side to side in because I punish this bike! I feel like leaning hard into the turns or even just counter-leaning for the more low speed maneuvers when you want to lean the bike down might be made a bit harder by this. What do y’all think?
Im just below fayetteville n.c. and found a nice corbin seat for $200 but its for the scout. I would love to know that it would fit on the scout bobber.
The mounting pin for the seat is different on the bobber. The seat itself will fit. Contact Corbin and find out if they’ll sell you the pin for the bobber.

F.N.G Moto ya. The HD dealership here on Vancouver island is pretty awesome. They treat their people right.
Jay Fast he seemed really happy. Good for him.

IMO you won’t be disappointed, it was such a big improvement over my stock seat. So much so I don’t feel the need for any suspension upgrades.
Kyle Arens that cross country is a big bike huh.

Hopefully someone gets some useful info about the seats, a Corbin is a major investment. Like, subscribe, comment and share.

Does the wideness of the Corbin hurt and limit the bike’s ‘sporty’ attitude?
@@hectichive889 no it didn’t
Can you get the Corbin insignia in any other color than white? it's an eyesore imo and much rather have it in black or dark brown.
gil I believe you can. They have a few options, once you pick the style of seat you want it’ll be at the end of the seat configurator tool.

Stock seats suck.
I went with A mustang seat with backrest to hold me in position.
So comfy
Christopher David Lawson of NEPA is the scout as bad as the bobber? I didn’t think it was but my wife wasn’t happy with it.
@@FNGMOTO not as bad but still a hard seat with not much support
Christopher David Lawson of NEPA my wife took her Corbin out for a ride today. She of course loved it.
