@magiccheeseball The initial invasion of Crimea was to capture oil and gas pipeline landfall points which would be perfect from Crimea towards the West.
Likewise, Russia invaded Georgia (also under Obama), then withdrew, then went in again briefly to capture an extra few km of territory, which just so happens to include the BP pipeline which runs from Azerbaijan through Georgia (to avoid Armenian enemies of Azerbaijan. Russia can turn off energy to Europe very easily in the event of war. BP said they had no problem with it because they have plenty of interests in Russia itself. .....of course they would say that.
I've worked with many of the majors, BP involvement was one of the worst projects I've ever been on.

Can one not support Palestine without supporting Hamas? Interviewee’s say they will support Palestine and you follow up with the wording “Hamas representative”.
