For real. I love the boat yard I work at because I work Tuesday-Saturdays. Saturday is only 9-2 so I get rest of day off then Sunday and Monday off. Boss is great he took us on a tiki bar boat on lake winnipesaukee in NH, paid for our drinks. Sometimes people need to find the right work place and sadly this guy's employees are not grateful.
I must say, Tino showed a ton of class by showing up. A simple, “I don’t wanna go fishing” ahead of time would have been a lot more respectful than no showing.

I don't hate Tino I think he is a very good worker and he just had so much going on in his life last season and it seems like he is doing so much better and he has proven that he appreciates not only what Ryan does for him but he has said thank you a few times to all of us that did help pay for his car and he seems like he does everything for his family and that's probably why he is always late last season and had to take so much time off.but he has stepped up his game this season I think he is a very good worker and I would hire him before Eric or Carlito it seems like Eric just cares less because he is doing his own work if any of y'all notice he is more serious on his own job and could careless about victory jobs that's just what I see from all of them anymore.but Tino is one of the best victor has

I feel bad for Tino. He should have been able to go fishing. He was so excited to be going. I hope Tino holds his head up and isn’t left feeling forsaken or feeling like he isn’t good enough because of the results of what happened. I know Ryan got caught up in his own disappointments and made a real human error. Nobody is perfect. Tino’s disappointment should not be dismissed. He is trying hard to improve himself and it’s great to see.
If I was Ryan I wouldn't have gone either. I'm sure he'll make it up to Tino in the long run with smaller things here and there that the other guys won't get. He has done a lot for him already.

Well it's kinda obvious the guys feel obligated to be friendly with him coz he's the bossman, they don't have the energy to do that for the whole day though. Not showing up for something that cost you a lot of money is major disrespect. After 25 years in business I did similar things for my crew. I learned that the more you do, the more they take for granted. In todays working world very few do what you do. Start pulling back these perks, put the money back into you business and family.
Even if you aren’t into fishing. A fun day on the water with your co workers is still a great time. I was sad to see the guys weren’t into it. This would have been an amazing opportunity for so many other people. Those guys take your kindness for granted man. That’s a shame.

As a retired owner of a tree removal service, I always tried to do the very same things that you do with your guys. I know all too well the disappointment that you felt when only Tino showed up for the fishing trip. So lessons learned. Next time they want you to pay for lunch, decline paying because you spent the money on the fishing boat trip that you had to pay for. Give them something to think about, Man that should not have happened at all.

Honestly preferred watching you hanging out with your family. It's a knock against the guys' character that when you wanted to bond and just show them a good time, they didn't have the drive to show up for you. Last season Tino had some issues going on in his family if I recall correctly, but he seems to have gotten it taken care of and now he's got the car so he's become really solid. Glad to see he's come around!

Not showing up for something that cost you a lot of money is major disrespect. After 25 years in business I did similar things for my crew. I learned that the more you do, the more they take for granted. In todays working world very few do what you do. Start pulling back these perks, put the money back into you business and family.

As a retired owner of a tree removal service, I always tried to do the very same things that you do with your guys. I know all too well the disappointment that you felt when only Tino showed up for the fishing trip. So lessons learned. Next time they want you to pay for lunch, decline paying because you spent the money on the fishing boat trip that you had to pay for. Give them something to think about, Man that should not have happened at all.

Well, I have to say.. I'm glad Tino turned it around. Long time ago, always late, sometimes not showing up. But now he is there ! I am so happy to see that. He worked it out.

Last season Tino had some issues going on in his family if I recall correctly, but he seems to have gotten it taken care of and now he's got the car so he's become really solid. Glad to see he's come around!

Being a small business owner in the trades, I’ve never seen such a bunch of spoiled and entitled employees! Everything Ryan does for them and this is how they treat him?!

@@kosan2875 Work hard? What videos are you watching? They do bursts of work, and concrete work is physical, I get that, but Ryan is a great guy and on the tools he works harder than any of them. And this is how they show their appreciation? Absolutely appalling.

@@awakenotwoke1973 Have to agree with you. He also pays a $500 bonus if the guys show up on time, that's a great incentive in the current climate everyone is in at the moment.
Ryan might be rethinking about putting a gym and lounge in the new building.
His crew just proved that many employees have no interest in hanging out with the boss nowadays.
Ryan deserves a lot more respect from some of the guys!… He’s always going above and beyond for everyone putting himself last.
