This was a good, solid finals. Too many people crying that it was boring. Would the Celtics / Bucks be a better matchup? Sure. But you don’t always get the BEST matchup in the finals. Credit to Denver on an incredible run. And to the Heat for making it this far.

Nuggets are bringing back teamplay, postup play and hard defense. A few things the NBA have been lacking for years. The era of team-stacking and ticky-tack fouls is over. Out with the old and in with the new. NBA is fun to watch again.

people are trying their best to act like it wasnt that bad but man were these playoffs a slog. the warriors vs lakers series was the most entertaining by far (admittedly due to star power) but it was just a rehash of old matchups but done worse since lebron and curry are a lot older. The sixers celtics series had moments specifically the absolutely thrilling game 4 but the sixers sold the series and the celtics played awful in every game other than game 7 and still lost. We had 3 game 7s each and every single one of them blowouts, yeah tatum and curry scored a lot which was cool but game 7s are supposed to be intense, down to the wire affairs. The finals were sure to be bad regardless but jimmy just wasnt the same guy he has been in the last 3 years (probably due to the ankle injury). Parity was cool but we need great teams again because if the league stays so mid the nuggets might actually end up a dynasty like everyone is predicting.
