And if you turn yo at his house wheelchair or not you deserve too be assaulted haha I know he brings it on himself but jeeesus turn up at a mans house expect to be treated like a man
I’ve always believed that the worst thing you could ever wish on someone is that they never learn from their mistakes. Dragonlord is the purest example of why that’s the case.
Man... This Dragonlord dude obviously has mental health issues, and it doesn't help that people keep fucking with him. What he needs is some therapy or some meds or something.
I feel like, while Drachenlort has made plenty of mistakes, he also has been targetted (in real life) by lots of horrible people. Imagine if you couldnt live your life because every single day, mentally sick people without empathy come to your house or call and threaten your sister nigh on everyday. You can be a random douche on the internet. I'd argue any given TH-cam "prankster" is a worse person than Drachenlort and they suffer absolutely none of the consequences. So, if Drachenlort murders somebody, I'm going to operate under the assumption that they needed murdering and thats that.
I see you in part 4, as a german i can say, you did so much better dealing with the natural empathy and the facts, then every newsoutlet here. Keep being based.

To get an idea of how long ago the original DragonLord episode truly was, that was the first time Dank used the heavy metal channel intro we now know him for.
For all the bad qualities of Dragonlord himself I still feel that the people deliberately going to his house just to mess with him are probably some of the worst humanity has to offer.
True - Most of those coward actions are done by a wave of fans brought in by a streamer and are dispised by most "haiders". There are hundreds of songs, WoT etc and these actions overshadow all that and completely miss the original point of it all...
I agree, not one of them had the creativity to go there, in a suit of plate armour, with a shield and fake sword, in order to "Challenge a dragon." Truly, they are the worst of humanity, for wasting such a golden opportunity.
This is almost a folktale at this point. A whole village gets sick and tired of the fat dragon over the hills who keeps terrorizing them, so they arm up with pitchforks and torches to banish the beast from their lands. Hell, they even wanted to throw a party.
"terrorizing them"? the fact that you wrote this most likely with a straight face, while regularly complaining about 'mental gymnastics' is worrying most of these people arent even locals, theyre just randos showing to his house and destroying property. keep gassing that light tho
It wasn't built inn the 1800s. The older buildings on his property were constructed in the sixties and the house itself around 1980 (the years were marked on the buildings - watch some drone-vids, you'll see it). Also the main building wasnt a brick built home but a very old prefabricated house - one of the first, that came via mail order. Even when new, the Drachenschanze was an eyesore amgonst all the other beautiful buildings in this village and people hated the Winkler family for that.
And he has all right to do so. The Ogre did more than enough to go to jail multiple times. And Dank gets sued for a funny dog video, which didn't caused any damage...
@Meta Mulle yes it was. Not the Judges fault the main witness was a low life. Would you trust a witness thats totally drunk, and arrested just a hour later? It simply means he cant behave himself, and propably also provoked dragonlord... Him beeing drunk was the best defense for dragonlord

The villagers sound like assholes to be honest. They’re acting like all this was Dragonlord’s fault but it isn’t. He didn’t force those people to come harass him.

You have no idea. I'm a bavarian myself and in that game since the end of highschool, as a german metalhead you've stumbled over this madlad way before non-metalheads knew about him. He was always a constant in my early adult life. New job, new environment, but still this guy sits in his house yelling at people. Dropping out of my old job going abroad for a couple of years, still this guy sits in his house and yells at people, coming back to bavaria and going back to get a higher degree, this fella is still there and yells at people from his house. Weird, that this screaming house from the screaming hill is gone, that constant is gone, that constant of my late teenage and early 20s, now without this constant, I guess I've fully entered adulthood.
The village was sick of Rainer well before the trolling happened. At night he often played loud music; loud enough for almost the entire village to hear. Rainer was already inemployed by that time. Some villagers tried to argue with him to turn the music down at night, but he only yelled at them. He also let a dog, inherited from his father, almost starve to death (since it wasn't "his" dog) until the dog, and many other animals, were taken away by an animal protection service.
@@hanswurst4760 The family had both a dog and a horse (named "Blue"). Blue was cared for by a neighbor who was aparently paid by Rainer's mother and died in about 2018. The horse was pretty old when it died (about 30 years old). But the family also had a guard dog, kept in a cage. According to Rainer himself, he didn't like the dog and didn't get along with it. But instead of having the dog taken away by animal protection services, he simply didn't feed it. Instead the dog was fed out of pity by a caretaker of his bed-ridden grandma living on the property at the time (paid for with her own money). Eventually she had the dog taken away (either after talking to Rainer about it or by calling the authorities herself) .
What's really, REALLY important to know about the very first time Dragonlord gave out his adress: It took a whole YEAR after the release of the video until the very first documented visit popped up, which just happened to be one single, stock picture of the dragon bunker. It would then take another half a year until the second documented visit happened, which was a short video. After that, it was Dragonlord himself who would further enable people to visit him, either by selling posters to them, actively inviting people and/ or causing a scene upon being provoked which set the stage for the pilgrimage hype.
Also: Nearly his whole adress was already known on the internet * before * he uploaded this video and he continued to have his adress in his youtube information (yes, full adress) up until at least he left it behind earlier this year.
Just as a quick fun fact after all that: Drachenlord even said after a trial that he was lying in court to get a lesser sentence. He literally said that himself.
@@tank_insight2011 Considering that the local police stood ildly by while his home was terrorized and vandalized for years, I would've done the same thing. Fuck them.

We all know there's gonna be a part 4. We all know it. This shit is going to keep going for the rest of Dragonlord's life, and maybe after. Dank is gonna have to do at least one more of these, for sure.
The sad thing is we all know it’s gonna end badly, he’s not gonna be someone that dies of old age peacefully surrounded by loved ones, his death is gonna be worthy of a whole mad lads episode in itself like the Bjork stalker
Yeah and I have a feeling that someone will find a way to fuck with him after he dies too. Like I always say, "Never, ever, ever, EVER underestimate the depths of human stupidity." I bet there'll be a mass pilgrimage to his funeral, trolls trying to desecrate his remains, the whole thing will be a mess, as sad as it is to say
Probably next 3 years or if something really bad happens to him. Surprised Dankula never brought up video games that have mods based on Drachenlord like the Counter strike map based on his house.
One more notable event: A TV studio that is funded with public tax money, produced an episode of a police show, which was HEAVILY (!!!) inspired by Dragonlords story. You can actually say that the german government has paid for Dragonlord to be mocked on public television.
No, it's not the government funding this episode with tax money. It's the german version of the UK's BBC and television licenses. Btw, I'm from Germany.
He's literally like a tragic Greek protagonist. You want to feel bad for him b/c he's getting screwed over from such a minor error ... but at the same time he's kind of an asshole and constantly makes things worse for himself ... and he became famous almost totally by accident. Truth, fiction who can even tell the difference anymore
32 minutes in: I've never in my life heard of a man, given as many chances and resources as Dragonlord, and wasted them all almost immediately. Both of his probations were very lenient considering the issue, and not only that, were centered around him receiving help.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. If you were deeper into the game you would know that the police protected him in his state for years. Something like a ban on entering the place was issued for months, which was unique in Germany. The police have regularly used horse squadrons to scour the forest etc. He has hardly ever felt the consequences. Only after he has disappeared from the village and another police station is taking care of him is his (illegal) action no longer tolerated. For the first time in his life, he bears the consequences of his actions. Crazy
Well, yesterday morning the trolls found out he stayed at friends house nearby and his friend kicked him out in the middle of the night after his 100 subscriber TH-cam Channel got targeted by the haters. After that, the DragonLord made a video in the woods in the middle of the night saying he will be offline for a couple of weeks, after all of his social media plattforms except a 2nd tiktok account and an odysee account were banned. yesterday in the evening, one of the most well know trolls and his main haters send the dragonlord a discord link to talk to him and make him sign the unconditional surrender to the Haters, which probalby means that he has to delete all of his accounts and leave the internet forever and in return the haters will stop their attacks. Probaly his last chance to start a new life, but right now its not clear if he accapted the invite and if he surrendered or not, but all of his accounts left are deleted right now - probably by himself.
whats really sad is that his father left his family a house to live in, probably the house his family grew up in, most likely paid off, and he completely destroyed it, made it so unlivable that his family left, and then he sold it purely to avoid going to prison for being a degenerate.
Yeah, it's a shame. His grandfather built the house, his father inherited and kept it in good condition and Rainer destroyed it. Worst of all: In one of his videos he even said it wasn't emotionally difficult for him to sell it.

Its a shame he trashed his property it looks like it would of been a lovely spot to live once, iv travelled through Germany a few times and some of the villages in the country side are beautiful.
There were multiple big barns and smaller buildings on his property. It could have been a beautiful beautiful place in the right hands. In the end it was so trashed that it could only be demolished. Very sad.
Bavaria (the area he's in i think) has some very unique little towns and villages, my own experience there was the people being pretty grumpy all the time, but i guess that's just Germany during a hot summer.
It’s kind of sacreligious to destroy a house that a man built with his bare hands. You could probably power the whole community with the speed dragonlords grandfather is spinning in his grave.
His father didn't build this house "with his bare hands". It was a rundown prefabricated house - the cheapest kind available at the time and even when his father died, the house was in desperate need of restoration. Please stop making up stuff, that paints the whole situation in a totally wrong light.
Dragonlord was such a pain in the village's ass that the government stepped in and bought his home then demolished it to get rid of him and his fan club. Imagine being so annoying that you can actually make the government do its job and serve its constituency.
But the government didn't do it's job. Like at all. It basically allowed the situation to get worse and worse while pinning it ALL on Drachenlord so as to not have to deal with the real villains: the army of unruly edgelords harassing a mentally ill recluse. They didn't fix anything, they just threw the problem somewhere else. EDIT: Thinking about it, I'm being way too harsh on the local government. They did give him a LOT of outs from his legal issues, well beyond what he deserved.

Since the release of this video, Dragonlord lost his all his accounts on: TH-cam, TikTok, OnlyFans, and Snapchat. Also he is now officially considered homeless by German authorities. Two days ago he went to the Emskirchen city hall to speak to the mayor. She told him that there was nothing she could for him, since he still has money left to rent a home. All he had to do from this point was to find a regular job (for the first time in his life), which of course he refused. Security personnel had to forcefully remove him from the city hall. Oh, and you left out his short engagement: Mona Wett, who was about ten years older than him, offered him a place to stay during his odyssee, and later promised that she would marry him. During that time, there was no intercourse between the two, but Mona kept inviting and f*cking other men in her home, while Rainer had to wait downstairs. Allegedly he gave her quite a bit of money too, before she threw him out. When he sold his car last spring he got 30 000 Euros for it, but that money is already gone. Now at this point he has no home, no car, no license, no money, no job and no online accounts. Also there are the ongoing investigations and his failed probation conditions. So it seems that finally everything is really coming to an end now.
Maybe, but he is over 30, and a virgin, meaning that he has met the internet criteria for being a wizard, which also explains why he got away with so much: Magic. So he may have more tricks up his sleeve.

I completely agree with you. At first, this seems to be just another story centered around a person. But much like with other lolcows, this is really about a very distinct phenomenon going on between one person and a group of other persons. The problem for Dragonlord however is that if he stops streaming and shelters himself completely from the online world, his haters will at first be frustrated somewhat, but otherwise will go on with their lives - they have options. If the haters would magically stop paying attention to Dragonlord, he cannot continue his life. He will have no revenue from platforms. He has become a shitmidas no employer wants to have around. Insulting is not only illegal in Germany; there are a lot of countries with similar laws and some other countries where it could be considered something like public disorder if it leads to disputes. According to our lawmarkers, insulting someone is not protected by freedom of speech as it infringes someone else's right of freedom, in a sense that you have "a right to live in dignity" (1st law in our constitution). Holding someone in a headlock for treaspassing on your PROPERTY (NOT in the hoouse - no hater ever in the whole game entered his house before he moved out), while you're waiting for the police you called earlier is okay. @@Galardomond Actually it's the opposite. German Self Defense Laws, specifically Criminal Code 32, allows you to use any means at your disposal to defend yourself and your property within reason. The quote "Truth is stranger than fiction", "Real life is stranger than fiction" is a massive understatement when it comes to this story. If a movie came out of this no one would believe it was based on fact. Art could never be as crazy, bizarre and unpredictable than these events.
@@doclouis4236 A number of famous authors have credite to be the first to say it, or a varient of it. One of them is Mark Twain “Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't.” "Its no wonder truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense." As a writer the context behind the quote is pretty straight foward. Even though similar quotes were credited to later authors, this proverbial saying is attributed to, and almost certainly coined by, Lord Byron, in the satirical poem Don Juan, 1823: ' Tis strange - but true; for truth is always strange; Stranger than fiction; if it could be told, How much would novels gain by the exchange! How differently the world would men behold! How oft would vice and virtue places change! The new world would be nothing to the old, If some Columbus of the moral seas Would show mankind their souls' antipodes. To what experience Lord Byron had, to write that poem? Who knows.
@@cypherglitch Interesting. I'm not entirely well versed in old Shakespearean English to understand what Lord Byron said, but I get the gist of it. Basically, aside from Byron's quote, truth is stranger than fiction because there are many variables in real life that influence a certain outcome to happen that can or cannot be within someone's control or that make sense. One thing can lead to another, thus creating more issues that can complicate things and sometimes even an outcome can be more mundane than one could expect compared to fictional works where everything can be meticulously crafted or written out too be as interesting and engaging to the reader because the author has full control over what happens in their world and characters compared to what happens in real life. In fictional works, there is inherit desire from a creator to make an exceptionally extraordinary world full of wonder and imagination that goes far above what we would see in our day-to-day lives. This depends, of course, on what type of fiction they're writing, but still the point is to make something epic and cohesive that thoroughly engages the reader in a captivating experience like no other. It's what makes fiction both fun and sometimes what we as humans would want in a desired outcome too be like seeing the hero slaying the villain or rescuing the damsel in distress, righting many wrongs, redeeming themselves, etc. It's one of the many reasons why it captivates us when real life can't exactly be all that we hope it too be. Well, that's at least my take on it anyway. Maybe I could've mentioned some other things. But anyways, thanks for answering my question in detail, monke.

I have a feeling there's a bit of a legal self-own on various governments' parts (local, regional, etc.). For instance, if they had pursued the trolls to the fullest letter of the law then the legal system might be more surefooted in dealing with DL's recalcitrance as that point wouldn't come up in court and hurt their prosecution (e.g., the government passively contributed to a worsening situation). Also, it's likely that his trolls are his shield to a large degree. The spectacle surrounding the trial or disruptions during it could be a problem. Then who knows what lengths some shitlords would go to by antagonizing the jail he'd be housed in, what things would get sent to the prison mail room, etc. Altogether, it just seems like as awful as the DL situation is, various officials probably feel it's a nuisance (relative to other, larger problems) that's just easier to let linger or sweep under the rug in hopes it eventually disappears rather than actively pursuing the legally proper course of action that could be potentially long-term and migraine-inducing. Then there's probably the public relations aspect of pursuing someone that lives in squalor and likely has psychological issues.

yesterday in the evening, one of the most well know trolls and his main haters send the dragonlord a discord link to talk to him and make him sign the unconditional surrender to the Haters, which probalby means that he has to delete all of his accounts and leave the internet forever and in return the haters will stop their attacks. Probaly his last chance to start a new life, but right now its not clear if he accapted the invite and if he surrendered or not, but all of his accounts left are deleted right now - probably by himself.

Yeah, it's a shame. His grandfather built the house, his father inherited and kept it in good condition and Rainer destroyed it. Worst of all: In one of his videos he even said it wasn't emotionally difficult for him to sell it.

I completely agree with you. At first, this seems to be just another story centered around a person.
What exactly counts as an insult isn't always clear, which makes this whole thing rather strange and quite fuzzy. Holding someone in a headlock for treaspassing on your PROPERTY (NOT in the hoouse - no hater ever in the whole game entered his house before he moved out), while you're waiting for the police you called earlier is okay. As a writer the context behind the quote is pretty straight foward.
Even though similar quotes were credited to later authors, this proverbial saying is attributed to, and almost certainly coined by, Lord Byron, in the satirical poem Don Juan, 1823:
' Tis strange - but true; for truth is always strange;
Stranger than fiction; if it could be told,
How much would novels gain by the exchange!
How differently the world would men behold!
How oft would vice and virtue places change!
The new world would be nothing to the old,
If some Columbus of the moral seas
Would show mankind their souls' antipodes.
@@patrom8164 there is in fact an episode of a crime tv show that is loosly based on him 8
I just feel for the family. The whole story is just sad, from the man himself being a scumbag, to the family sick of it. To the house, which should have been a gift, being run into the ground. The trolls escalating it to the ninth degree, to all of the outbursts and attacks on him and to other people. The village becoming a circus. The whole thing is just sad
I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who has liked this comment. Wasn't expecting it to be so well received, it was an emotion I felt after watching it. It still makes me feel very sad and still view the man as below scum but hey not my life

"Insulting people in Germany is actually a crime."
I did not see that coming.
that is a difficult thing, and 99.999% not procecuted or even convicted. Article 1 of our constitution states "Die Würde des Menschen ist unantatstbar", "the -Honor- Dignity of a Man is untouchable". I think it is one of if not the most important law in germany. It's not really meant to criminalize insulting people but is a byproduct of it. in Drachenlords case it got procecuted because, well you watched the video....
we insult each other all the time, nearly nobody cares
I did Nazi that coming...
@@scout41741 That's the problem though. If there's laws on the books that only get used when the authorities feel like it, then it basically means they have the ability to prosecute anyone they want for things that they can't pass laws against.
It should be, insults lead to physical altercations. And even if it is only words, you shouldn't be able to insult people without being punished. People need to realize we live in a society and need to act proper and polite.
40:30 Well said. Drachenlord is complicit in his own abuse. At any time he could stop and leave the internet, and the trolling would stop. He refuses. Reminds me of KingCobraJFS and Richard “Jordie” Jordan.
Hes got that from kingcobra the rap skills from cyraxx and his sexuality is as disgusting as Chris chan with a bunch of lucas werner sprinkled in when it come to his preference of "young" girls
This man's tale surpasses even the greatest works of fiction - in absurdity, tragedy, drama, everything. I honestly don't know what could come next as seemingly, Rainer has the insane talent to always find new ways to fuck his life up and make everything even worse than before. I just hope the end to this isn't a murder suicide or something.
Do you know the story of the TempleOS guy?
He also lost his home and lived on the streets never to be heard from again - until a police report confirmed his death. When Drachenlord lost his house I had the same fear. But since he is way too pigheaded to commit not alive he'll vegetate on his tsar couch until he cant move anymore.
So everything the same on that front.
Rainer exclaims the following more often these days: "You are not going to defeat me unless you (the bad bad "k" word that ends wit "ill") me!" *wheeze *pant

The hose was a pretty good move from the dragonlord lol. He has every right to get them with the hose. If this happened in the UK you'd get stabbed or a hammer across the head.
It would have been funnier if Drachenlord had the hose connected to a pump and an IBC full of dragon piss.

The villians of this story are the internet people who show up at your house and cry and scream for the police to bring charges against you

The dragonlord is basically above the law, i mean he didn’t pay his taxes like you are supposed to do- that was said in court! And he did more than 15 offenses while being on probation
NOBODY in Germany could do this
Correction: one could
He has nothing except the property, is on social benefits and cant find a job. He is ingovernable.
Yeah that he got away with tax evasion is the biggest WTF. You might get away with a slap on your wrist for raping and murdering someone but tax is usualy where they draw the line
The guy is obviously not 100% mentally there plus being a lolcow getting bullied on a daily basis
You cant deny he is a victim in this situation despite being a terrible human being
I have a feeling there's a bit of a legal self-own on various governments' parts (local, regional, etc.).
Man, aside from the streaming license thing the german courts that dealt with him gave him a really.fair shake. Fair play.
the license thing is from wold war 2 aftermath its as if you try to run a tv broadcast
Eh, they gave him a decent chance and good advice for sure. But them pursuing the assault charges is maybe a bit much. He's clearly been harassed non-stop for years now. That'd fuck with a normal person let alone someone as unstable as Reiner.

Some more recent developments:
- TH-cam, after a decade of holding their protective hand over Drachenlord, finally closed his account of 200k+ subscribers, which was his only relevant source of income, due to him avoiding a channel strike and streaming on a secondary channel of his. This was the straw that broke the camel's back.
- He then went on to shift his online presence onto various other platforms like Twitch, OnlyFans and TikTok, where he was subsequently banned for various reasons
- He now created a new TikTok account hoping that this one will stay. Other that that, his online presence has been curtailed almost entirely
