I love how Luna's colours are the harmony to Celestia's melody. Although not the most important part of a song, without the harmony, the melody would be not as good on its own. Symbolism ♥

I noticed something:
As celestia and Luna fight, Luna's voice(On the piano) gets shorter and faster notes, similar how the times and movements seem to accelerate , when Celestia than casts the spell with the EoH and earlier ("And forgive me for being so blind"), Luna's voice suddenly has very few and long notes, showing that for some moments the time is slowed down, then as Tia begins to realize what she did,and time comes back to normal speed.brilliant
I can't get over how beautiful the runs are between 4:08 and 4:44. The speed doesn't detract from it, it actually benefits it.

I don't think it would fit in any seasons since they explored the history of Luna and Celestia twice now. It's nice as just a nice animation and a musical interpretation of Celestia's pain.

This, in some ways, might be my favorite cover of this song so far. And I've seen some REALLY good covers of this song,
i don't mean to be that one person which thinks their life is the worst and the most unfair, but i think i can relate the song kind off to me and my dad. he just left me, my mom and my brother. this happened just about year and a half ago and i still can't calm myself.

A_Jewish_Ghost Well I'm awfully sorry to hear that. My Uncle died of cancer a few years ago. This song reminds me of him. I know how it feels. I couldn't calm myself for a few months after that as well. But you'll be fine. People, when they die, they don't just die. They are kept in the hearts of the people who care about them, if that makes any sense xD But my point is, you can get through it :)
