The bin liner tip is horrible. It makes it difficult to put the bag in as air cannot escape the bin.

For opening jars you can also "spank" it on the bottom with your hand causing the bubble to pop.

I never realized there was a better way to extinguish candles without all that smoke, or that I've been peeling Post-Its incorrectly. The detailed explanations and demonstrations in this video were incredibly helpful. Thank you for sharing these life hacks!

I never realised that a simply alternative way of doing things is defined as ‘wrong’.

Well if there is even a better way to do things AND the manufacturers obviously designed their products to offer an option that no one is aware of ....

Without being critical some of it feels a bit OCD but I really liked the tip about the jar lid, thankyou. ❤

Letter openers were invented for a reason and work the best of all.

As for jar lids, I just slide a butter knife under the edge, hear the air release, and it's ready to open. Not everyone has the strength to push in on the jar hard enough to break the seal....

I'm gonna try just swishing the wax in the candle around if the glass isn't too hot. I don't want to maintain an extra tool to put out a candle. I've been just putting the lid on it.

#4…….my husband opens envelopes down the side and it makes me insane! Across the top please!!!!!

I knew about the cutter. I knew about the peeler. I hit the bottom of a jar with the heel of my hand and the lid pops. I knew about the envelope.

I asked my granddaughters the other day why do we do crafts with these, save them for teachers to do things with at school. Countless projects are made with them... THEM, toilet paper rolls. Why not use the paper towel rolls instead? You can get 3 out of the one roll...but the MUCH more important reason I question this.... the paper towel rolls usually come out of the kitchen. The toilet paper roll..... uhm, errr, UGH... yes Sir/Ma'am!!! Out of the bathroom right next to and being used because of using the toilet. Please tell me I'm not alone in wondering about this. (Oh yeah, I've used the little ones, saved them for my children, put them aside for my grandchildren. while the long ones are not only big swords for their imagination but also der-derts. You put them up to your mouths, take a deep breath and yell ..DER DER DER DERT! a SELF MADE digeridoo!) As long as you stay a part of your childrens' lives and teach them that smiling is great, playing is fun.) Have a wonderful life.

Actually, the best way to open a envelope is with a pair of scissors. Get very close to the edge so you don't cut the letter.

It's nice to make the envelope that I'm going to recycle, look nice before I throw it out. 😊

I have tried both ways and the way you say is the wrong way Is actually easier for me. I do still try both methods but when I do it your way the bottom always stays up even if I push it down it comes back up I am going to continue the other way thanks though

    4) I have a special letteropener sweetie! No, not my husband haha, but a kind of 'knife'.

I did not know them. As someone that does not watch that kind of video often, I appreciate that they are actually useful. Nothing really important but if the candle does not smoke all the better. And only the jar opening - if it works - was worth watching it. And the potato peeler trick (the unused blade is likely still sharper).
