Checking the AC must not be included in the final check when leaving the ATC factory. My new 550 was delivered 2 weeks ago to the dealer, but I have yet to take ownership of it because the AC doesn't work. Apparently a wire from the thermostat to the the AC grounded out. I would have thought ATC would checked that before it leaves the factory. That said, I am hopeful the great reputation ATC has will be born out and this will be a reliable trailer for years to come...
Hey Champster, we're sorry your unit came in with A/C troubles. We do have a pretty awesome team dedicated to inspecting units before they leave the factory and the team works hard to produce a quality product. With that being said, we are human and humans are unfortunately not perfect and things happen. We do want to make sure that we help get this resolved for you so you can get back to your weekends and take it out for some fun! Has your dealer reached out to the Warranty Department here at ATC? Thank you!
The dealer has been great and has been in touch with ATC support. It’ll be a few days before the problem is resolved and it is ready to be delivered. ATC is mailing a new Thermostat to the dealer.
@@aluminumtrailer I finally took possession of the RoM 550 last weekend and it is a fabulous trailer. I'm so happy the dealership was able to fix the failed wire connecting the thermostat and the AC unit and all seems to be work great so far.
