I liked the discussion, really hope you guys continue these hard/difficult conversations queer edition. What are your thoughts on establishing boundaries (eg:- washing your partners undies, taking on their debts, a partner who doesn’t do oral), abuse in WLW couples, what happens if one of you change your religious beliefs?

It really does make more sense to have a simple marriage ceremony, for the paperwork and the peace of mind. Splurge on the honeymoon, it would feel more special that way, I agree

I think finances vary in a relationship depending if the couple lives together or not . I do believe that a joint account is great but each person should have their individual account as well. So three accounts two individuals and a joint for the things that we need to get done like bills, vacation, savings etc . Finances are one of my biggest topics when dating someone especially if we plan to live together because a lot of people are not financially literate. Great video guys 👏🏽

Loved the discussion this week guys!!
We got a joint account a few months into our relationship so we could start saving towards moving in together, dates, and travel. We also regularly have discussions around financial goals and budgeting.
Coming back through NMIA, the immigration officer made it abundantly clear that we can't even stand at the counter together because that is reserved for blood relatives or husband and wife.

Oh wow. I remember Debi and I were told the same out there too but when we went other places we went up to the counter together but Jamaica just different 🥹

Omg yes. Same same. They really don’t recognize us here at all.
