Saw y’all at Harrahs Resort & Casino in Cherokee, NC Friday night (6/7/24) for the 2nd time as we missed ya last month when we came out …but while standing there waiting on a friend bring my drink over he had ordered for us at the Mist Bar one of the 2 male Bartenders asked him who the drinks were for!!! (He got video and pics of him) Guess he didn’t like that he turned to point to the public and said; “what does it matter WHO they are for?” & the bartender put NO liquor in theirs! THEN WHILE he was ordering our drinks I was standing there enjoying watching the band right below the railing as we had a table down there as it’s carpeted & I have a sprain on my foot …a plain clothed (black T-shirt, shirt black hair, brown eyes, def Native about 5’9” looks like he works out some, age wise about it o be in his 50’s but could be a little younger) We all believe was plain clothed Security came & stood right in front of me in my face BLOCKING my view & yelled “Who the ‘F*&K are you talking to?!!” I was so shocked I leaned in & said: “ExCUSE me?!!” & he yelled it again!!! I(their 1,000s of cameras will be able to see what he said, his vehement mannerism, facial expression, tone, invasion of my personal space & boundaries (getting in my face ) etc. I immediately realized I was singled out & he must’ve been watching me & waiting for an opportune time to approach me when alone ! Because a friend had JUST gone up to the bar to order our drinks & she followed him up there to help him carry them he swooped in! After this very abusive verbal attack on me, I immediately realized what he’d just done and I retorted “Who the F*$K are YOU talking to?! Implying he just abused the WRONG person. I guess he realized or saw our friend, a much bigger man, walking towards us and my friend so he bolted but not too far as he stood only about 10 feet away talking to another employee still watching me!’ I SHOULD have videoed him & got his name but DID report him to 2 Security and called to report a formal complaint! I pointed him out to my friend as she WITNESSED him confronting me in a combative manner & asked what happened! I kept my arm entirely outstretched pointing directly at him while telling her what happened & her seeing his lanyard & Ceasar’s ID badge allowing others to turn & see who I was pointing to. I was NOT intimidated by this monster or criminal and wanted him to be exposed in front of the cameras and other Patrons . NC is NOT a “No Fault” state NOR will I be threatened, harassed to not frequent a place we enjoy as well as my family & friends as we spend a lot of money there from Ruth Chris, Brillos to food court, bowling and gambling and have every right to be there as any other Patron & have NEVER gotten drunk there or done ANYTHING including Winning a lot of money while playing to warrant such abuse so it must’ve been “personal” and a discrimination tactic and severely abusive. My friends who witnessed him bullying me said they’d testify and of course the cameras captured as well as 2 different security guards reported to that I have their names & we have the EXACT TIME for this too and reported that for them to review the cameras before getting back with us.
With ALL that being said, y’all are a talented band and enjoy watching you play while friends & family are playing on the floor as I don’t play often and as other women do that don’t play - have a hangout to go relax, have a drink and enjoy the music. I also know locals I talk to as well sometimes if I see them . I’ve asked for support from several other Patrons there as well as they are governed by Ceasars so have to abide by their overall governing rules as well as the Nations’ “HATE CRIME LAWS!”
Thought it was important to not just give you support on seeing if you had a channel and subscribe and give you feedback but let you know this out of state Vendor you play at did this to one of your new FANS! NOT Cool! NOT acceptable and is a CRIME what he did & should be reprimanded, written up or even FIRED for that bullying, harassing, discriminating behavior !!
Be safe & I hope they give y’all free rooms so you don’t have to drive after playing - they SHOULD!
