The adventures of Robin Hood is so good! The reading of book aspect is so unique or at least from what I have seen as well as decisions you make change the play as well. Plus it is a bag builder as well which is cool

I setup too many bones, read the rules, then packed it up and traded it away lol. Idk how I missed that it was straight combat from the several videos I watched.
Some great games on that shelf. I demo'd Fog and love a couple of years back at the UK expo, played dozens of games of it. It's a lot of fun if you like narrative and get into it. There isn't actually any gender in the game. Some couples struggle with it because it can get a but close to home!
Got some new games this month, so I’ll make it a priority to learn and play those games. And one of them is Star Wars Villainous, and I’m excited to play that one.

I played the original Disney Villainous last year with family, and this one was just as great because the theme just hits home for me. Plus it gets slower in the summer at work and several of us are trying to get a bi-weekly game night after work. I brought Star Wars Villainous and it was a hit!
We knocked out 23 games at DTW and 20 of those were brand new to us. If you go into it your SOS with the thought to get them played, you could knock out quite a few, and then upon first impressions decide whether you would need a replay right away. A lot of people have the mind set that you have to learn the the complete rules and know every answer to everything that happens, but sometimes you just need to open that box and play. It might be terrible and you might play things slightly wrong but its the interaction with the people you are playing with that makes it fun.
We have 38 games on our shelf of opportunity. While that may sound bad it was over 50 at the start of March. Hoping to knock 5-6 games a month off that to get through them all before 2024.
Great video, with quite a hefty list of games to get to. But if anyone can do it, we all know you two can. We still haven't tried 'Fog of Love' after a first and failed attempt at getting the rules completely wrong. Also, we had a similar "stall" with Vagrantsong, after a great start. Good luck guys!

Decorum is better than I expected. I went in expecting to not like it. Played it to just get it off the shelf and now I’m into it. I think the payoff is worth it, will see if y’all end up drinking the Koop-aid haha
TMB is love, TMB is life! As for Fog of Love I'm curious to hear what you think. For us it was a BIG miss. It felt like more of a roleplaying game than a board game.
Re: Bohnanza: I strongly recommend that you try this a time or two with only two people in addition to trying it with more. It's a completely different game with only two people and by far my preferred way to play... With two people it becomes a relatively fast paced filler. With more, the game has a negotiation phase which definitely brings in more player interaction, but also drastically increases play time and potential downtime.0
Games recs for post surgery please! A friend is having a mastectomy and would like some games to play with her family (all adults) while she recovers. Need to be very accessible and can be played with minimal arm movement (no bones, or no boob if you will). Thanks!
Hmm that’s a tough assignment! I think my best suggestion would be to move the pieces for her! (I’m not sure how many games would require no arm movements). But I’m thinking things like: Pandemic, Forbidden Island. I think co-op games would be good as you’d be able to discuss and make moves as a group, limiting her need to actually move pieces herself!

Mosaic is silky smooth in its play. Small rules overhead and extremely quick play. Fantastic game. Favorite game released in 2022.

Galaxy Trucker is so fun. My kids love playing it. You just have to go into it to have a good time and not be super attached to your ship.
