Bad move with your addition of a brass valve where the plastic “safety plug” was. That plastic plug is designed to fail under high pressure should the other safety devices fail. Also the contact between brass or copper and aluminum can cause a galvanic reaction that accelerates the oxidation of the aluminum tank. Your idea good in theory but not so good in practicality,
