- They're just getting started. Meet members of the Academy staff and the recruits of the Virginia Beach Police Department Training Academy Class 62 as they begin their 26-week training program to become VBPD.

Basically they turn them to robots/machines who listen commands but have no feelings or empathy.
Its quite opposite behavior of people who work in music of classical orchestra. They have different language and behavior and show great form of empathy.
The video editing and story telling is as good as the academy itself.

I'm glad that I'm going to a Community College Police Academy that's not paramilitary style.... (It is a college atmosphere) laid back etc
your training isn't going to prepare you for the stress of the job if it is laid back. You are much better off going to a paramilitary-style academy.

So VBPD is recruiting outside of the city? Why not train our own citizens? Seems too much like the Military. I have questions.
This isnt gonna help bring in new recruits.
It looks like the police state. No one here gets training on the constitution and citizen's rights. The sheriff is the only constitutional law enforcement and voted by We The People!

They still raw n pass out with flying colour but once they on the ground for longer period of time they have forget what they learn in the academy... bully, arrogant, racist, social profiling on woman or their own female officers... Badge with license to do unlawfully breach on anything they want...🙄
