What makes grinding for these mythics bad is having to farm two separate bosses just to get mats for either of the uber bosses. And then using said mats to farm the uber bosses for a less than 2% chance for a mythic. Oh btw, the list of mythics has grown but the drop rate remains the same. Meaning getting less of chance for the meta mythics(Shako, Tyrael's, Starless, etc.)
sorry to say, but Tyrael and shako are no longer the meta. heir and shroud ECLIPSE those 2. unless you just want bulk then sure, but they aint gonna help climb pit like heir and Tyrael do
This season I've farmed roughly 300 bosses, and had 2 Mythic drops (on T3 and T4). I've also found 7 Tribute of Ascendance from Whisper Caches. From these I've had 5 Mythic drops. So I've been constantly farming Whispers, which are much easier now since lots of things are Whispers now.
I have yet to get a cache that isnt a boring CHAOS, AMULETS, GAUNTLETS, BOOTS, etc cache. Have not has anything but normal stuff and I have been farming whispers like crazy. Its still bunk!

We did over 100 duriel kills last night and none of us got a mythic that is less then 1 in 400 last season was about 1 in 20 kills. This season for me 5 total and 2 from vershan,
I got my shroud of death from zir. Had plenty of blood bottles stacked. Perfect for 4-rota runs but it was boring af and some players were leeching without mats

Mythics were dropping alot about 2 updates ago. Now it takes over 300 runs to see one. The rng is digustingly stupid in this game. Some person gets 3 in under 10 runs the other persom gets nothing in 300 runs. Considering the person who farmed/payed for mats did all the work. Rng needs to be taken out of games on a serious note. Im pretty sure next month the devs will ninja raise the mythic drops when they see players lower count due to this garbage season.
While these are fun to watch, they underline the woeful treatment of the average diablo IV player. When you get on and watch so many of the "Sponsored Hosts/Players" and they show you a run and VOILA, 3 mythic uniques drop in their run they just HAPPEN to be recording for their audience...its pure crap that you run 100 runs, and barely eak out 1 mythic unique. THOSE are INSANELY TERRIBLE odds. It makes playing the game no fun. Why do I want to re-hash the same preview content every season so i can get powerful enough to take on a boss and then find out I CANT GET A MYTHIC! Its BS.
All i can say is this is very underwhelming of a season and the only saving grace has been the new class and WOW is it ever broken, a clear sign nothing is tested and just tossed into the cooking pot.
I’ve gotten 25 Ubers within 100ish kills this season (in the beginning). Also got a 4ga shako, while my buddy got a 4ga shroud. It’s wayy easier to get them as drops this season. I had the sparks in my tab for awhile there’s not really any ubers the spirit born can use so they’re kinda worthless unless you play a different class 😂

I wouldn't say it's aweful, but it's definitely pretty awful.
Their meant to be super rare i've gotten 2 in about 140 ladder bosses thats not even that bad comapred to other games that have a system like this

all the bosses drop them. not just duriel and andariel. the only mythic i havent gotten yet is the neck. melted heart or whatever

Over 700 bosses on T4 and not ONE mythic. Also, over thousands of bosses since season 1 and no Mythic. My luck must be pathetic.
