Terry, why did they use such large fret wire? The space between frets is .3 mm smaller and the fret wire is slightly higher. It doesn’t sound like much but it has definitely affected my playing. Chords I used to play with ease are a bit harder and the upper frets is where it really gets cramped. I’m an intermediate to advanced player, finger style. I have arthritis so this was a bit disappointing. My Cordoba tenor is easier to play. I lowered the strings just short of buzzing and it helped. But other than that it’s a beautiful resonant Uke. Tell me what you think? If it didn’t cost so much I would have it Re fretted with standard wire.
If I am somewhat proficient at playing a concert ukulele with the ultimate goal of playing guitar but don’t feel comfortable transitioning Immediately. Which instrument would be the best next step before learning guitar. The guitalele or the Baritone Ukulele? Thank you!!!
That right there is a great question. While a baritone gets you to 4 of the strings and same tuning, id lean towards a guitalele. That way you get used to the 6 strings, and fingers/chord shapes associated with that. All you’ll have to do is transpose when you pick up a guitar. All that said, what’s holding you back from just jumping straight to a guitar?
@@ernestryles what’s holding me back is honestly just physically being comfortable with the guitar in hand. It’s much larger than an uke and very different from any other instrument I’ve played. I’ve gotten quite comfortable with the small size of the uke.
Ukuleles are not like a gateway drug to move up on. They are its own style and sound. There are some really insane and demon possessed players out there like that young asian kid...If you like guitar, then get a guitar and learn both. They have electric ones too if you want to rock on it LOL.
I have these myself. It's a fantastic instrument. Plays well and sounds even better. Definitely my favorite ukulele.
Perfect for flamenco Latin medieval and jazz sounds awesome brother 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your welcome.

How You change the strings on that kind of bridge?
That's the best Cutaway I've ever seen ! Cause you can easily put the fingers there but it still has more body to resonate 🤯
This would be an excellent ukulele to play power ballads.
It’s pretty.
Terry !! Can you please do a video explaining Electroacoustic Pickups? I've seen a lot for sale on different prices but IDK which one it's "better"
They used other’s design and it’s made in China
The tone of these is on par with ukuleles twice the price in my opinion.
Do you have a phone
A phone number was cut off last time thank you😎geno
i don‘t know if its the mic but this uke sounds dead
