I love Elena and Bonnie they are both great characters really but in all honesty the person I can relate to is Caroline.She's the one I adored.She's the one I feel the closest to.She's the one I love the most.She was always so insecure and lonely, living in the shadow of Elena which-in her 17-year old eyes seemed perfect.-and she felt like the burdain.Most of the fans didn't like her at the beginning, before she became the"badass vampire" because they didn't get it.Caroline was always the closest to the average-every day, normal girl.The fact that she grew out of the little-girly-caroline she once were into a strong,mature,confident and independed woman all by herself really touches me and I feel proud of her.She gives hope.You just think"If she can do it, why not me?"She's the most incredible role model for me.Elena and Bonnie are strong minded and great too but my heart will always cry for Caroline Forbes.
How am I this proud of a fictional character ? She evolved so much ! Wow. She doesn't deserve everything that she got and, except for Bonnie, she deserves better friends. I don't understand how people can prefer Elena to this amazing bubbly and caring lady, while the protagonist of this show is selfish and bad without even knowing it. I just hope she gets Stefan and happiness because she cares so much for the people around her and she deserves it.

Watching this, I realize just how perfect Klaus is for Caroline. When it comes to love and picking her first, (which, let's face it, isn't it every girls dream?) Klaus was/is the only one. Caroline was Matt's rebound and he discarded her when she became a vampire. Tyler choose revenge and hate over her. To Klaus, she was the first he ever loved that way, would do anything for and let go of his revenge gloating over Katherine (which had lasted for 500 years) for her. How is that not pure love?!
I know! That's what I love about TVD and TO, there's actual growth in some of the characters! That's really what makes a good story! :) Ignoring the fact that some of the characters are kinda stuck at this point (Elena, Bonnie, Jeremy) or going back and ignores their awesome growth (Damon), I'm happy to see Caroline and Stefan breaking through. Oh, and something is defiantly going on with Tyler and Matt too, in the matter of growth... :) I soo wanna see both Caroline and Stefan in New Orleans, I honestly believe that it would do wonders to their personal growth, with a little help from, well Klaus ;)
Not to mention the parallels. Klaus mother rejected her children after turning them into vampires and Micheal imposed the hybrid curse (is that what it's called?) on him because being a hybrid was an abomination. Caroline's mom rejected her when she first found out she was a vampire and her dad tortured her as means of some sort of conversion therapy because he could not accept her as she was. Not to mention they were the only vampires known to have children. There were so many opportunities to have her move to The Originals but truth be told TVD wouldn't have lasted 8 seasons without her character (well her and Bonnie). Honestly, I would have been fine with 5 seasons of TVD and without Legacies if these two would've ended up together.
This is my new absolute favorite Caroline video. Her development over the seasons has been incredible, especially 1-3. She's my all time favorite female character and I love how she grew into this kinder, more confident, independent girl who stays true to herself and has the most beautiful heart. To quote Klaus (a quote that wasn't in the video!) she's "Strong, beautiful, full of light." I love Caroline, this video is incredible, I hope you vid her more in the future! Brilliant job :D xo

caroline forbes is literally my favorite person in this series. nothing can change my mind... she just speaks for a lot of girls everywhere who just try too much to fit in, to be liked; anything.
