Love the video! These are important considerations for anyone thinking about migrating to another country. Indian and Latin American cultures are very family-oriented. Many immigrants in the US work 2 or 3 jobs, yet they still can’t afford medical treatment there. They often spend their savings traveling back to their home countries for a few weeks to visit relatives and friends and to undergo medical checkups they can’t afford in the US. I think it’s worth mentioning that experiences abroad are absolutely valuable, especially when young and without responsibilities. However, at some point, the benefits decrease as we take on more responsibilities, and both we and our relatives back home start aging.
No matter how prepared or informed someone might be about what to expect, I believe very few Indians choose to move back to India without having an indefinite option to return if circumstances become challenging, or unless their children hold citizenship in another country. This key point or reason number one should be emphasized to avoid sugar-coating the process or creating any misleading notions about the decision to move back.
